Rangers' Brendan Brisson: Loaned to Hartford
Brisson was assigned to AHL Hartford on Tuesday.
After posting an assist across three appearances with the Rangers, Brisson will return to the AHL for the time being. His audition at the highest level mimicked his solid play in the AHL, where he has 13 goals, 10 assists and 73 shots on net across 46 games this season. The 24-year-old forward will likely have a chance to be recalled at some point later in the season with the Rangers struggling to find consistent scoring depth.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Shifts to IR
Hintz (illness) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, per the NHL media site.
Hintz will miss his fourth straight game against Calgary on Tuesday. He is eligible to come off the IR list when he is healthy, but it's unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. He has compiled 15 goals, 44 points, 125 shots on net and 58 hits in 52 appearances this season.

Zach Werenski D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Game-time call Tuesday
Werenski (illness) was deemed a game-time decision ahead of Tuesday's clash against Nashville, per Aaron Portzline of The Athletic.
Head coach Rick Bowness stated that Werenski will take warmups before it's decided whether or not he will play Tuesday. The 28-year-old blueliner missed the Blue Jackets' game Monday due to the same illness. The fact that Werenski is taking warmups is a step in the right direction for his return, regardless of whether he suits up for Tuesday's contest. If the Norris Trophy candidate can't go Tuesday, he'll have a full day of rest before Columbus plays host to Florida on Thursday.

Jet Greaves G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Patrolling crease Tuesday
Greaves will be in goal at home versus the Predators on Tuesday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
Greaves will look to bounce back from a disappointing last outing in which he gave up four goals on 26 shots (.846 save percentage) in a loss to the Islanders on Saturday. The 24-year-old netminder has been splitting the workload with Elvis Merzlikins, a trend that will likely continue down the stretch.

Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Shifts to LTIR
Demko (hip) was placed on long-term injured reserve Tuesday.
Demko's move to LTIR was bound to happen after Vancouver announced he would be shut down for the season Jan. 27. Demko will continue to rehab his injury after going 8-10-1 with a 2.90 GAA and an .895 save percentage across 20 games this season.
