  • Wild's Kirill Kaprizov: Supplies two assists in win

Kaprizov had two assists, including one on the power play, and added three shots on net, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Avalanche.

Kaprizov has eight multi-point efforts over his last 11 contests. He's earned at least one power-play point in nine of those games, as well as continuing to be a leading contributor in that situation. For the season, the 28-year-old winger is at 32 goals, 72 points (26 on the power play), 208 shots on net, 37 hits and a plus-11 rating across 59 appearances.

  • Lightning's Brayden Point: Five points in last two games

Point had a goal and an assist in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Hurricanes.

Point has two multi-point games (three goals, two assists) in the Bolts two games since the break. There's no rust on his game after missing 11 games prior to the Olympics with a lower-body injury. The Bolts could afford to give Point some rest to protect his health, what with a six-point lead over Detroit and Montreal at the top of the Atlantic. Even if that happens, he's still a great fantasy option. Point has 35 points, including 14 goals, and 89 shots in 39 games.

  • Wild's Mats Zuccarello: Reaches 10-goal mark

Zuccarello scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Avalanche.

Zuccarello's deflected goal in the third period stood as the game-winner. He has tallied five times and added eight assists over his last 11 outings for one of his stronger stretches of the campaign. The Norwegian is up to 10 goals, 34 points, 76 shots on net and a minus-2 rating across 39 appearances in a top-six role.

  • Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Strikes twice on power play

Eriksson Ek scored a pair of power-play goals on five shots in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Avalanche.

Eriksson Ek had both of the Wild's tallies in the second period to help them establish a 2-1 lead. He's up to six goals and four assists during his seven-game point streak, with five of those 10 points coming on the power play. Overall, the Swedish center is up to 17 goals, 42 points (15 on the power play), 150 shots on net, 78 hits and a plus-14 rating through 53 outings. He continues to be an effective all-around player in a key role for the Wild.

  • Matt Boldy LW | MIN

Wild's Matt Boldy: Two of each in win

Boldy scored two empty-net goals on 10 shots and added two power-play assists in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Avalanche.

Boldy's first empty-netter came shorthanded. The 24-year-old winger had four points in Team USA's run to the gold medal at the Olympics, bringing some attention to what's been a standard-setting campaign at the NHL level. He's up to 34 goals, a career high, and 66 points (21 on the power play) over 55 appearances. The winger has added 183 shots on net, 40 hits, 33 blocked shots and a plus-16 rating. He has gotten on the scoresheet in his last eight outings for the Wild, totaling seven goals and nine helpers in that span, which was interrupted by a four-game absence due to a lower-body injury in mid-January.

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Allows goal in mop-up duty

Wallstedt gave up a goal on two shots in relief of Filip Gustavsson (illness) in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Avalanche.

Luckily for Wallstedt, that mop-up duty was just metaphorical -- Gustavsson became ill in the crease late in the third period. Wallstedt gave up a goal while coming in cold, but that won't be held against him. The 23-year-old will likely get the nod for Friday's game in Utah, though it's unclear if Gustavsson will be feeling well enough to back up for that contest.

  • Tyler Bertuzzi LW | CHI

Blackhawks' Tyler Bertuzzi: Tallies on power play

Bertuzzi scored a power-play goal on three shots and went minus-2 in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Predators.

Bertuzzi ended a five-game goal drought with the tally. The 31-year-old winger is up to 26 goals, 43 points (18 on the power play), 122 shots on net, 40 hits, 34 PIM and a minus-19 rating through 55 appearances this season. He's on pace to reach the 50-point mark for just the second time in his career, and he could also set a new personal best in goals.

  • Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Another multi-point outing

Guentzel had three assists Thursday in a 5-4 loss to Carolina.

Guentzel has nine multipoint games in his past 18. Overall, he has 63 points (26 goals, 37 assists) and 151 shots in 57 games to go with the shiny gold medal he picked up with Team USA at the Olympics. Guentzel's current scoring pace is the best of his career.

  • Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Deposits goal in loss

Bedard scored a goal on five shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Predators.

Bedard tied the game at 1-1 with his second-period tally. He scored in three of the Blackhawks' four games immediately before the Olympic break, and he's picked up where he left off. His goal Thursday was his career-best 24th of the campaign, and he's added 30 helpers, 148 shots on net, 32 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 45 outings. Bedard has taken significant strides to rounding out his overall game in his third NHL season.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Yields three goals in loss

Knight gave up three goals on 25 shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Predators. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Knight had a 2-1 lead to protect in the third period, but he wasn't up to the task. He's lost in regulation in four of his last six outings, and he's given up at least three goals in seven straight games. The 24-year-old is down to 16-17-7 with a 2.63 GAA and a .907 save percentage over 40 games. It's possible the career-high workload is catching up to him, especially with a young defense in front of him. Knight and Arvid Soderblom can be expected to split this weekend's back-to-back set, which has the Blackhawks visiting the Avalanche on Saturday and the Mammoth on Sunday.
