Rickard Rakell C | PIT
Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Collects pair of points
Rakell scored a goal, dished an assist and added three hits in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Flyers in Game 4.
Rakell has a goal, three assists, seven shots on net, nine hits and a plus-1 rating over four contests in this first-round series. The 32-year-old has filled a top-six role, as expected. Rakell had made the playoffs on six previous occasions, racking up 19 points across 48 games in those postseason runs. He earned 48 points in 60 regular-season outings this year, so he has some scoring potential to tap into if the Penguins can keep the series alive again in Monday's Game 5.

Sidney Crosby C | PIT
Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Two points in Game 4 win
Crosby scored a power-play goal on three shots, added an assist and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Flyers in Game 4.
The goal was Crosby's first of the postseason, ending a five-game run without a tally for the 38-year-old. He's been limited to three points with 13 shots on net, eight hits, six PIM and a minus-2 rating over four contests against the Flyers in this first-round series. Crosby's 74-point output in 68 regular-season games was his lowest total in five years. Prior to this year, he had collected 201 points over 180 career postseason contests. His goal Saturday was his 100th career road point in the playoffs.

Arturs Silovs G | PIT
Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Keeps series alive
Silovs stopped 28 of 30 shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Flyers in Game 4.

He went 19-12-8 with a 3.07 GAA and an .887 save percentage over 39 regular-season outings. Silovs' win Saturday likely puts him in line to start the next game.

Linus Ullmark G | OTT
Senators' Linus Ullmark: Gets no support in four-game sweep
Ullmark made 26 saves in a 4-2 loss to Carolina on Saturday in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round. He allowed just two goals.
The four-game sweep was not on Ullmark. Only two Senators managed to score goals -- Drake Batherson had three and Dylan Cozens had two. Total. Ullmark finished with a .932 save percentage. He is just the second goalie in NHL history to have a save percentage north of .930 and still get swept in a four-game series, according to ESPN's Blake Warye. Jonathan Quick (.947) suffered the same fate in the first round in 2018.

Carter Yakemchuk D | OTT
Senators' Carter Yakemchuk: Two assists in NHL playoff debut
Yakemchuk picked up two assists Saturday in a 4-2 loss to Carolina in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round.
Game 4 was Yakemchuk's NHL playoff debut. He registered three shots in 19:34. The 20-year-old defender delivered 40 points, including 10 goals, in 54 games with AHL Belleville. He finished second in rookie scoring from the blue line and 12th overall among AHL defenders. Yakemchuk also had one goal and one assist in four regular-season appearances with the big club in 2025-26. He should be in the mix for an NHL roster spot out of training camp in the fall.

Senators' Dylan Cozens: Game-high eight hits in loss
Cozens scored a goal and laid a game-high eight hits Saturday in a 4-2 loss to the Hurricanes in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round.

Drake Batherson scored the other three goals. Cozens has four points (three goals, one assist), 24 shots and 49 hits in 10 career Stanley Cup Playoffs appearances. He had 28 goals, 31 assists, 29 power-play points, 205 shots, 435 faceoff wins (53.2 percent) and a career-high 215 hits in 82 games during the 2025-26 regular season.

Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Silencing doubters with excellence
Andersen made 25 saves in a 4-2 win over Ottawa on Saturday in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round.
Andersen allowed just five goals in four games. He has dazzled with a 1.10 GAA, .955 save percentage and one shutout this postseason. Andersen has heard doubters throughout his career, but this performance has him near the top of the Conn Smythe odds list to this point in the postseason. He and the Canes now await the winner of the Flyers-Penguins series.

Sebastian Aho LW | CAR
Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Two empty-net goals in Game 4 win
Aho scored two goals in a 4-2 win over Ottawa on Saturday in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round.
Both went into an empty net. Aho's first came at 17:38 of the third to make it 3-1, and he added another at 18:45 after the Sens had pulled to within a goal. Aho put up seven goals, eight assists and 41 shots in 15 playoff games last postseason, and he has continued the magic with three goals and 10 shots in four games so far this year. Carolina's second line carried most of the weight against the Senators; Aho and his first-line mates will be looking to step things up in the second round against either the Flyers or the Penguins.
