    Hurricanes' Taylor Hall: Leads NHL in postseason scoring

    Hall scored a goal and added an assist in a 4-2 win over the Senators on Saturday in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round.

    Hall is on a four-game, seven-point scoring streak (two goals, five assists; 14 shots), and he leads the NHL in postseason scoring. Yes, you read that right. Hall leads the NHL postseason scoring list. His line, complete with Logan Stankoven and Jackson Blake, put up a total of 16 points in the series sweep. Hall and the Canes now wait on either the Flyers or Penguins for Round 2.

  • Stars' Nils Lundkvist : Exits Saturday's game

    Lundkvist is questionable to return to Saturday's game against Minnesota.

    Lundkvist left the game after suffering a deep facial laceration from Michael McCarron's skate. The 25-year-old Lundkvist logged 10:32 of ice time before exiting the match. He has two assists in four playoff games this year, including Saturday's action. If Lundkvist can't play in Game 5 on Tuesday, then Ilya Lyubushkin might draw into the lineup.

  • Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Playing like roof on fire

    Stankoven scored a goal Saturday in a 4-2 win over Ottawa in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round.

    He netted a power-play goal in the third period to break a 1-1 tie. The Hurricanes put in two empty-net tallies late in the game to secure the series sweep. Stankoven scored in each of the four games against the Senators. He's the first player in franchise history to start a postseason with a four-game goal streak. Dating back to the regular season, he has amassed 11 markers and 16 points in his last 12 appearances. Stankoven's four playoff goals tie him with Brandon Hagel of the Lightning for the NHL lead.

  • Oilers' Jason Dickinson: Game-time call for Sunday

    Dickinson (undisclosed) is expected to be a game-time decision for Game 4 in Anaheim on Sunday.

    Dickinson was also a game-time call for each of the previous three clashes of this first-round series. He got into Game 1, scoring two goals en route to a 4-3 victory over the Ducks, but he's missed Edmonton's last two matches. Dickinson had seven goals and 17 points in 64 regular-season outings with Chicago and Edmonton in 2025-26.

  • Hurricanes' Alexander Nikishin: Suffers injury Saturday

    Nikishin (upper body) won't return to Saturday's Game 4 matchup against Ottawa.

    Nikishin needed help getting off the ice after being hit hard by Ottawa's Tyler Kleven in the second period. The 24-year-old Nikishin hasn't earned a point in his first four NHL postseason appearances, but he has two shots on goal, five blocked shots and six hits.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Slated starter Saturday

    Oettinger is expected to start on the road in Game 4 against Minnesota on Saturday, per Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News.

    After allowing five goals on 28 shots in the first-round opener, Oettinger has won Dallas' past two games while stopping 57 of 62 shots (.919 save percentage). He had a 35-12-6 record, 2.59 GAA and .899 save percentage in 54 regular-season appearances. Minnesota finished the regular season in a three-way tie for 10th in goals per game with an average of 3.27. However, the Wild are missing an important member of their forward corps in Mats Zuccarello (upper body).

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Defending crease Saturday

    Wallstedt will protect the home net against Dallas on Saturday in Game 4, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports.

    Wallstedt is coming off a 32-save effort in Wednesday's 4-3 double-overtime loss to the Stars in Game 3. He has a 1-2 record this postseason and has allowed eight goals on 95 shots. Wallstedt has lost his last two outings, permitting seven goals on 67 shots.

    Avalanche's Josh Manson: Unlikely to play Sunday

    Manson (upper body) is doubtful for Game 4 against the Kings on Sunday, per Marc Moser of Altitude TV.

    Manson didn't participate in Saturday's practice after getting injured in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kings. It's unclear when he will be ready to return, but the team is taking it day by day. Manson has two assists, five shots on goal and 10 hits through three games this postseason.

  • Wild's Mats Zuccarello: Won't play Saturday

    Zuccarello (upper body) won't play in Game 4 versus Dallas on Saturday, per Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News.

    Zuccarello is set to miss his third consecutive game. He had 15 goals and 54 points in 59 regular-season outings in 2025-26. Zuccarello is likely to play on the top line when he's healthy, but for now, Bobby Brink is projected to serve in that role.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Between pipes Saturday

    Ullmark will patrol the home crease against Carolina on Saturday in Game 4, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.

    Despite losing all three games, Ullmark has been superb in the postseason. He has allowed only seven goals on 105 shots during that span. Ullmark has a 5-13 record with a 3.05 GAA and an .894 save percentage across 19 appearances in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
