Toews (upper body) is available for Monday's game against the Red Wings, Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now reports.
Toews sustained an upper-body injury in early January, but he'll be back in action Monday following a 13-game absence. Across 40 appearances this season, the 31-year-old has recorded a goal, 12 assists, 58 blocked shots, 18 PIM and 14 hits while averaging 22:20 of ice time.

Texier (lower body) won be in the lineup against Minnesota on Monday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Texier will miss his second straight game, and it's unclear if he will be ready to return against Winnipeg on Wednesday. Since having his contract terminated by the Blues in late November, Texier has seven goals, 17 points, 51 shots on net and 31 hits in 30 appearances with the Canadiens.

Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: First goalie off Monday
Askarov was the first goalie to leave the ice Monday, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports, indicating he'll guard the cage on the road versus Chicago.
Askarov has picked up just one win in his last five outings, going 1-3-1 with a 3.65 GAA and .863 save percentage in that span. The 23-year-old netminder has been splitting the workload with Alex Nedeljkovic since the start of January, but Askarov could be in danger of losing playing time if he continues to struggle.

Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: First goalie off Monday
Vejmelka was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports, indicating that he'll draw the home start against the Canucks.
Vejmelka put together an eight-game winning streak earlier in January but has gone 0-3-0 with 10 goals allowed on 94 shots over his last three outings. He'll attempt to get back on track against the Canucks, who are scoring 2.56 goals per game this year, which is the third-worst mark in the league.

Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Starting in Minnesota
Dobes will guard the road goal against the Wild on Monday.
Dobes has stopped 151 of the 169 shots he has faced during his six-game winning streak. He has gone 18-5-3 in the 2025-26 campaign with a 2.92 GAA and an .894 save percentage through 26 appearances. Minnesota ranks 12th in the league with 3.25 goals per game.

Fabbro has missed the last six games due to a lower-body injury, but it appears as though he could return to action before the Olympic break. Head coach Rick Bowness said Monday that the Blue Jackets will make a decision on Fabbro's availability Tuesday, so the 27-year-old will presumably be monitored following the team's morning skate.

Marchenko didn't practice due to an illness Monday and could miss Tuesday's game versus New Jersey, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.
Marchenko's potential absence could see Isac Lundestrom move up to the first line and Kent Johnson to the No. 1 power-play unit. The 25-year-old Marchenko is currently riding a four-game point streak, during which he has notched one goal on nine shots and four assists.

Blackwood is slated to tend the twine at home versus the Red Wings on Monday, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.
Blackwood will be making his fifth appearance in the Avalanche's last six contests, having gone 2-2-0 with 10 goals allowed and one shutout over his previous four games. Injuries have limited the 29-year-old Ontario native to just 20 outings this year, but he has still managed to rack up 15 wins and currently is sporting a career-best 2.32 GAA.

Hellebuyck is expected to start Monday's road game against Dallas, according to Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site.
Hellebuyck has one win in his last six outings (1-3-2) while surrendering 16 goals on 175 shots during that span. He has a 13-15-6 record this campaign with a 2.71 GAA and a .902 save percentage across 34 appearances. Dallas sits 11th in the league with 3.27 goals per game this season.

He made a road start against Toronto on Oct. 28, allowing four goals on 37 shots in a regulation loss.
