Filip Forsberg LW | NSH
Predators' Filip Forsberg: Scores twice Saturday
Forsberg scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.
Forsberg found the back of the net at the 9:59 mark of the first period, and he doubled his tally with a wrister in the second frame. Forsberg has been very productive of late, tallying 12 points (six goals, six assists) over his last 10 contests.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Makes 38 saves in loss
Sorokin stopped 38 of 42 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Predators.
Sorokin was coming off back-to-back wins over the Flyers and Rangers, but he struggled while facing a large workload in Saturday's loss. His 38 saves and 42 shots against were both the second-highest marks of Sorokin's season. Sorokin won six of his nine starts in January, going 6-3-0 with a 2.13 GAA and a .931 save percentage.

Juuse Saros G | NSH
Predators' Juuse Saros: Earns win Saturday
Saros stopped 27 of 30 shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.
Saros has been inconsistent from a win-loss perspective, and he's won just two of his last five outings while going 2-2-1 with a 3.90 GAA and an .872 save percentage. Those performances are far from eye-popping, so it's hard to trust him right now, making him a matchup-based option based on his recent struggles.

Zac Jones D | BUF
Sabres' Zac Jones: Returned to AHL
Jones has been reassigned to AHL Rochester by the Sabres, according to the AHL transaction log.
After playing in 46 games with the Rangers last season, Jones hasn't appeared in a game yet this season with the Sabres despite multiple stints at the NHL level. The 25-year-old has had a great season with AHL Rochester, registering 37 points (six goals, 31 assists) in 32 games.

Alex Lyon G | BUF
Sabres' Alex Lyon: Beaten three times Saturday
Lyon stopped 27 of 30 shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens. The fourth goal was an empty-netter late in the third period.
Lyon had been in an impressive stretch of late, and this was his first defeat since Nov. 28, when he allowed five goals on 23 shots in a loss to the Devils. Lyon has a 1.77 GAA and a .945 save percentage in four outings in January, and while fantasy managers should continue to trust him, the upcoming stretch of road games against Florida and Tampa Bay is far from favorable for the 33-year-old netminder.
-
Noah Ostlund C | BUF
Sabres' Noah Ostlund: Pots goal Saturday
Ostlund scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens.
Ostlund has been a productive presence in the Sabres' lineup of late, but most of his contributions have come on even strength, as this was just his second power-play goal of the season. Ostlund has seven points (three goals, four assists) over his last 10 contests.

Juraj Slafkovsky LW | MON
Canadiens' Juraj Slafkovsky: Scores vs. Buffalo
Slafkovsky recorded a power-play goal and took seven shots on goal in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Sabres.
Slafkovsky hadn't scored in back-to-back games since late December, but he accomplished that feat with a wrister at the 11:20 mark of the first period after also lighting the lamp Thursday against the Avalanche. The surging winger has points in three of his last four contests and tallied 16 points (eight goals, eight assists) across 16 games in January.
-
Cole Caufield RW | MON
Canadiens' Cole Caufield: Posts three points Saturday
Caufield recorded two even-strength goals and a power-play assist in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Sabres.
Caufield has found the back of the net in seven of the Canadiens' last eight games. He's been one of the most prolific forwards in the league over that span, tallying 11 goals and 14 points in that stretch.
-
Jakub Dobes G | MON
Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Extends winning run
Dobes stopped 36 of 38 shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Sabres.
Dobes has started each of the Canadiens' last three games and has performed at a high level, posting a save percentage of at least .940 in two of those contests. In six starts since the beginning of January, Dobes has posted a 2.97 GAA with an .893 save percentage.

Cody Glass C | NJ
Devils' Cody Glass: Slides helper in return
Glass supplied an assist, placed three shots on net and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Senators.
Following his one-game absence due to an undisclosed injury, Glass picked up the primary helper on Timo Meier's lone goal of the game for New Jersey. Overall, Glass is up to six assists, 19 points, 76 shots on net, 30 hits and 26 blocked shots across 43 games this season. Since Jan. 11, the 26-year-old center has played his best hockey of the campaign with 10 points in as many games. With 13 goals, he is just one away from matching his career high from the 2022-23 regular season. He centered the top line Saturday in the absence of Jack Hughes (lower body). If Glass can maintain a top-six role, he could be a solid streaming option.
