Kaapo Kakko RW | SEA
Kraken's Kaapo Kakko: Buries goal Saturday
Kakko scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Golden Knights.
Kakko found a loose puck after an Adam Larsson shot and put it away. That goal was the game-winner, Kakko's second such tally this season. The winger put up 12 points over 17 outings in January, and he's up to six goals, 20 points, 55 shots on net, 20 hits and a plus-5 rating across 38 appearances. He's shaken off an injury-plagued start to the campaign and should be a productive part of Seattle's middle six for the remainder of the campaign.

Eeli Tolvanen RW | SEA
Kraken's Eeli Tolvanen: Opens scoring Saturday
Tolvanen scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Golden Knights.
Tolvanen had been limited to just one assist over his previous five games. The Kraken have been getting contributions from other areas, but Tolvanen remains in a good spot on the team's second line and second power-play unit. He's up to 11 goals, 31 points, 96 shots on net, 135 hits, 58 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating through 53 appearances.

Jonathan Lekkerimaki RW | VAN
Canucks' Jonathan Lekkerimaki: First goal since Opening Night
Lekkerimaki scored a goal Saturday in a 3-2 shootout loss to Toronto.
It was Lekkerimaki's first goal since the season opener against Calgary on Oct. 9. He has two goals, one assist, 10 shots on net and eight hits through 11 NHL appearances this season. Lekkerimaki also has 10 goals and 16 points in 16 AHL outings during the 2025-26 campaign.

Jared McCann C | SEA
Kraken's Jared McCann: Nets 200th career goal
McCann scored a power-play goal on two shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Golden Knights.
The goal was the 200th of McCann's career, 134 of which have come with the Kraken. This was his 698th regular-season game as well, so he's tentatively lined up to reach the 700-game mark in Los Angeles on Wednesday. McCann was a force in the Kraken's 10-5-2 run during January, accumulating 10 goals and 10 helpers over 17 appearances for the most productive month by any Kraken player in franchise history. That has him up to 16 goals, 29 points (11 on the power play), 72 shots on net and a plus-3 rating through 30 contests this season.

Joey Daccord G | SEA
Kraken's Joey Daccord: Earns third straight win
Daccord stopped 27 of 29 shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Golden Knights.
Daccord came away with his third straight win in the Kraken's last four games. He has done well to secure more playing time for himself, but Philipp Grubauer has also put together a good January. Daccord improved to 15-12-5 with a 2.83 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 32 starts this season. Both goalies should get one more start before the Olympic break, as the Kraken face the Ducks on Tuesday and the Kings on Wednesday, with both games being on the road.

Tom Willander D | VAN
Canucks' Tom Willander: Scores in Saturday's loss
Willander scored a goal Saturday in a 3-2 shootout loss to Toronto.
The young defender has four points, including two goals, in his last five games. Willander has remained productive despite the team's struggles. He has amassed four goals, 12 assists, 41 blocked shots and 39 shots in 43 outings during his rookie season.

Nikita Tolopilo G | VAN
Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Superb in shootout loss
Tolopilo made 39 saves in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Maple Leafs on Saturday.
Tolopilo was outstanding in the contest and stoned sniper Auston Matthews on a penalty shot in overtime. Tolopilo was also superb in a 2-0 win over the Ducks on Thursday, which could lead to more opportunities to play instead of the struggling Kevin Lankinen.

John-Jason Peterka RW | UTA
Mammoth's JJ Peterka: Adds two helpers
Peterka recorded two assists and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Stars.
Peterka has four goals and three helpers over his last nine outings. He set up both of Kailer Yamamoto's contests in this loss, as their line with Barrett Hayton was the only one to get much going against the Stars. Peterka is up to 37 points (19 goals, 18 helpers), 109 shots on net and a plus-10 rating across 55 appearances.

Kailer Yamamoto RW | UTA
Mammoth's Kailer Yamamoto: Scores both goals in loss
Yamamoto scored twice in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Stars.
Yamamoto has earned five goals and two assists over his last seven games. He's doing everything he can to carve out a permanent role in the lineup, though that could be tough to do once Logan Cooley (lower body) is back. For the season, Yamamoto is at nine goals, 16 points, 31 shots on net, 19 hits and a plus-11 rating through 33 appearances.

Karel Vejmelka G | UTA
Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Surrenders three goals
Vejmelka allowed three goals on 32 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Stars.
Don't blame Vejmelka for this loss. The Mammoth killed off just two of the Stars' four power plays, with Thomas Harley and Wyatt Johnston each scoring with the man advantage early in the first period. Vejmelka has now taken three straight losses, allowing 10 goals on 94 shots in that span. He's tended to run streaky at times, though with more good than bad overall. Vejmelka slipped to 25-14-2 with a 2.63 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 42 starts. The Czech netminder is set to represent his country at the Olympics, so it's possible the Mammoth will let him rest either Monday versus the Canucks or Wednesday against the Red Wings in advance of the tournament. Vejmelka went 9-4-0 over 13 games in January, sitting just twice all month.
