Hischier (illness) will be a game-time decision against Ottawa on Saturday, Sam Kasan of the Devils' official site reports.
Hischier missed Saturday's morning skate. The 27-year-old has 18 goals and 41 points, including 14 points on the power play, over 54 games this season. Juho Lammikko could be in the lineup if Hischier is unable to play.

Turcotte (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday
Turcotte has missed the last two games and could be out of action until after the Olympic break. The 24-year-old forward has one goal and five assists in his past 11 games, giving him three goals and nine assists over 49 appearances this season. The Kings activated Anze Kopitar (lower body) from injured reserve in a corresponding move.

Stephen Halliday C | OTT
Senators' Stephen Halliday: Good to go
Halliday (upper body) will return to the lineup against New Jersey on Saturday, per TSN 1200 Ottawa.
Halliday will occupy a fourth-line role against the Devils after missing Wednesday's 5-2 win over Colorado. He has contributed three goals, 10 points, 24 shots on net and 24 hits through 21 appearances this season.

Kings' Anze Kopitar: Ready to rock
Kopitar (lower body) was activated off injured reserve Saturday.
The injury cost Kopitar 11 games in what could be his last season in the NHL. The 38-year-old will likely return to his roles on the first line and top power-play unit. He had six goals and 15 assists in 37 outings before his injury. To make room for Kopitar, the Kings placed Alex Turcotte (upper body) on injured reserve in a corresponding move.

Islanders' Calum Ritchie: Out until after Olympic break
Ritichie (lower body) will not return the lineup until after the Olympic break, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports Saturday.
Ritchie has missed the last three games and will miss at least the next four contests. He attempted to skate on his own earlier in the week, but it did not go well. As a result, the Islanders will sit him out through the break. Ritchie has seven goals and eight assists through 40 games this season.

Senators' Linus Ullmark: Tending twine Saturday
Ullmark will patrol the home crease against New Jersey on Saturday, according to Jackson Starr of the Senators' official site.
After taking a leave of absence for personal reasons, Ullmark will play for the first time since Dec. 27 against Toronto. He has posted a 14-8-5 record this campaign with a 2.95 GAA, an .881 save percentage and one shutout over 28 appearances. The Devils rank 28th in the league with 2.61 goals per game this season.

Penguins' Kris Letang: Placed on injured reserve
Letang (foot) will miss at least four weeks and landed on injured reserve Saturday.
Letang didn't participate in Friday's practice and won't play until after the Olympic break due to a fracture in his foot. However, his recovery timeline could keep him unavailable to play after the Penguins return to action in late February. He has three goals, 22 assists, 67 hits and 64 blocked shots through 50 appearances this season.

Capitals' Matt Roy: Moves to IR
Roy (lower body) was put on injured reserve Saturday, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.
Roy will miss his third straight game against Carolina on Saturday. It's unclear if he will return to action before the Olympic break. Roy has collected one goal, 13 assists, 67 shots on net, 106 blocked shots and 75 hits across 53 outings this season.

Capitals' Connor McMichael: Surfaces on IR
McMichael (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.
McMichael sustained the injury late in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over Detroit. He will miss at least the next four games and won't be ready to return until after the Olympic break. McMichael has eight goals, 31 points, 105 shots on net, 30 blocked shots and 30 hits across 55 appearances this season. According to Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post, McMichael is week-to-week.
