  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Continues impressive run

Vasilevskiy made 22 saves in a 4-1 win over Winnipeg on Thursday.

Just another day in paradise for one of the best goalies in the league. Vasilevskiy has won five games in a row with just four goals allowed. More impressively, he hasn't lost in regulation since Dec. 18, 2025, and he has a 13-0-1 record in that span. Vasilevskiy would be on Team Russia for the upcoming Olympics if the country wasn't banned from participation. The rest will serve him and the Bolts well, given his heavy workload of late.

  • Lightning's Zemgus Girgensons: Two apples keep doctor away

Girgensons picked up two assists in a 4-1 win over the Jets on Thursday.

The points were his first in seven games. Girgensons had one hit Thursday; he has 116 in 45 games this season. Unfortunately, that single category strength isn't enough to make him fantasy worthy.

  • Lightning's Nikita Kucherov: Seven game, 15-point scoring streak

Kucherov had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win over the Jets on Thursday.

Kucherov is on a seven-game, 15-point streak (four goals, 11 assists). He's actually been held off the scoresheet just once in his last 18 games (14 goals, 26 assists), dating back to Dec. 20, 2025. In addition, Kucherov has 138 shots and a plus-27 rating in 48 games

  • Lightning's Yanni Gourde: First goal in nine games

Gourde had a goal and two assists in Thursday's 4-1 win over Winnipeg. He also had four hits.

It was Gourde's first goal in nine games (three assists). He has seven goals, 14 assists and 74 shots in 52 games this season. Gourde centers the third line in Tampa Bay, and his fantasy value is slim at this point in his career, other than hits. He has 68 this season.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Gets helped off ice after win

Lindgren sustained an apparent lower-body injury at the end of overtime in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the Red Wings, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.

Lindgren shook off the injury long enough to perform in the shootout, but he needed assistance from his teammates to exit the ice at the end. The 32-year-old's injury comes at a bad time, as Logan Thompson (upper body) was not available Thursday. Lindgren's status wasn't updated after the game, leaving the Capitals' goaltending situation murky heading into Saturday's home game versus the Hurricanes. With the win, Lindgren improved to 8-6-3 with a 3.37 GAA and an .884 save percentage over 18 appearances.

  • Kraken's Berkly Catton: Hurt in Thursday's game

Catton (upper body) won't return to Thursday's game versus the Maple Leafs.

The Kraken didn't provide an official description of his injury, but Catton's head took contact from Oliver Ekman-Larsson during the first period. It's not yet clear if Catton is being evaluated for a concussion. Until more information is available, consider the 20-year-old day-to-day leading up to Saturday's game in Vegas.

  • Brad Marchand LW | FLA

    Panthers' Brad Marchand: Exits game

Marchand (undisclosed) will undergo further evaluation after leaving Thursday's game versus the Blues, Rob Darragh of the Panthers' official site reports.

Marchand didn't play much in the third period. The 37-year-old winger's status could be updated Friday, but fantasy managers may want to brace for him missing some time if his evaluations aren't positive. Jesper Boqvist will likely draw into the lineup if Marchand misses time.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Offensive skills continue to shine

Raddysh had a goal and two assists Thursday in a 4-1 win over the Jets.

The goal -- his 15th of the season -- stood as the winner. Raddysh seems to have come out of nowhere this season, but his skill has been there for a long time. While undrafted out of junior, Raddysh won the Max Kaminsky Trophy as the OHL's top defender in 2016-17. He currently sits sixth in the league in scoring with 47 points from the blue line; he's tied with Cale Makar for third in goals. Raddysh is on a three-game goal (three) and point (five) streak; it includes 11 shots and two power-play goals.

  • Noah Read C | ANA

Ducks' Noah Read: Two points in Thursday's OHL win

Read scored a goal and added an assist in OHL Niagara's 6-3 win over Sault Ste. Marie on Thursday.

Read, a third-round pick of the Ducks in 2025, has struggled mightily this season. He has just 11 points over 42 appearances this season, including nine points in 32 contests since he was traded to Niagara from London back in October. Read's lack of offense is a significant concern -- he has 26 points in 45 appearances with London in the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Jack Hughes C | NJ

Devils' Jack Hughes: Tweaks something in Thursday's game

Hughes left Thursday's game versus the Predators after tweaking something in his lower body. Head coach Sheldon Keefe was not overly concerned about Hughes' status, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.

Hughes retreated to the locker room twice in the first period, and he was unable to come back after his second exit. The 24-year-old center should be considered day-to-day currently. It's unclear if he'll be able to suit up Saturday versus the Senators, but for now, it doesn't seem like his Olympic participation is at risk.
