"I feel okay, it's a little tender, but I think we'll be okay," said deGrom, per McFarland. It doesn't appear as though fantasy managers should be overly concerned at this point, though it'll be worth keeping an eye on the right-hander's status leading up to his next start, which tentatively lines up for Sunday against the Dodgers.
DeGrom allowed three earned runs on six hits and no walks while striking out seven batters across 4.2 innings during Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Orioles. He did not factor into the decision.

DeGrom was slowly brought on during spring training and was cleared to make his 2026 debut Saturday, but the veteran right-hander has suffered a setback, which will result in Jacob Latz taking the mound for the Rangers instead. Per Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News, the Rangers believe that deGrom's neck issue is not a serious one and that he could start later on in the road trip. Per Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com, deGrom is tentatively slated to start Tuesday against Baltimore.
DeGrom allowed one run on three hits and struck out three over two innings in Wednesday's spring exhibition against Team Brazil.
DeGrom took the mound for the first time this spring, part of a gradual buildup for the Rangers' ace. For comparison, deGrom's first of three spring starts in 2025 came on March 8. Texas manager Skip Schumaker plans to follow a similar path for the 37-year-old this year with an eye toward having him pitching in September. DeGrom's 172.2 innings in 2025 were the most he's thrown since 2019. On Wednesday, the right-hander threw 39 pitches (27 strikes) with the lone run coming on a home run by Lucas Ramirez.
