  • Kyle Schwarber: Receives qualifying offer

The Phillies extended Schwarber a one-year, $22.05 million qualifying offer Thursday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Schwarber will most likely decline the qualifying offer and look for a multi-year deal in free agency, but by extending the offer to the 32-year-old slugger, Philadelphia ensures it will at least receive draft compensation if Schwarber signs elsewhere. Schwarber was one of the Phillies' most dynamic hitters in 2025 with a .240/.365/.563 slash line and set new career highs with 56 home runs, 132 RBI and 111 runs scored over 724 plate appearances.

  • Phillies' Kyle Schwarber: Powers Phillies to Game 3 victory

Schwarber went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a two-run blast in Wednesday's NLDS Game 3 win over the Dodgers.

Schwarber got the scoring started for the Phillies by tying the game up with a mammoth 455-foot solo homer in the top of the fourth inning off of Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Then, in his final plate appearance of the night in the top of the eighth, he went deep off of Clayton Kershaw with a man on base. The two-homer night pushed Schwarber's career postseason home run total to 23, moving him past Bernie Williams for third all-time, trailing only Manny Ramirez (29) and Jose Altuve (27).

  • Phillies' Kyle Schwarber: Makes history in Wednesday's rout

Schwarber went 4-for-5 with two solo home runs in Wednesday's 11-1 win over the Marlins.

While he paces the National League in long balls with 56 and sits two homers back of Ryan Howard's club-record 58 with four games to go, Schwarber set a major-league record in Wednesday's rout with his third-inning shot off Ryan Weathers. An incredible 23 of Schwarber's blasts this season have come off left-handed pitching, breaking the MLB record for a left-handed hitter that had been held by Matt Olson (2021) and Hall of Famer Stan Musial (1949). Schwarber suddenly has a very realistic chance at setting a new Phillies record for home runs in a season, having gone yard six times in the last 10 contests.

  • Phillies' Kyle Schwarber: Clubs 54th homer

Schwarber went 1-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-5 extra-innings loss to the Marlins.

The veteran slugger got the Phillies on the board by taking Edward Cabrera deep in the first inning. It was Schwarber's fourth long ball in the last nine games and his 54th of the season, and with five games left on the regular-season schedule, he's four homers short of Ryan Howard's franchise record of 58 set in 2006.
