Moore cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.
The 25-year-old was designated for assignment Tuesday but didn't garner interest on the waiver wire, so he'll remain in the organization. Moore missed the start of the season with a knee injury and has given up two runs over two-thirds of an inning in two appearances at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Yankees' McKinley Moore: Designated for assignment
Rotowire
Moore was designated for assignment by the Yankees on Thursday.
He's losing his spot on the 40-man roster in favor of Michael Tonkin, who was claimed off waivers. Moore missed the first couple weeks of this season with a knee injury and since returning has allowed two runs with a 1:6 K:BB over two-thirds of an inning. The 25-year-old has missed a ton of bats in the minors in the past, so even with his current struggles he could receive interest via trade or waivers.

Moore appeared in three games for the Phillies last season, surrendering seven earned runs in 3.1 innings while striking out two batters and walking five. He found consistent success in the minor leagues, however, making it possible another team gives him a look off the waiver wire.
