The Phillies placed Garcia on the 60-day injured list Friday with a torn right lat, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
Garcia was injured during Wednesday's game versus the Blue Jays when he tried to throw a runner out at home plate. It's unclear whether he will have surgery, but he will miss at least two months of action regardless after going straight to the 60-day IL. Gabriel Rincones is taking Garcia's spot on the roster and will be among those in the mix for playing time in right field.

Phillies' Adolis Garcia: Productive start with new team
Garcia went 2-for-5 with a walk in Wednesday's 6-5 extra-inning win over Washington.
