The Mariners recalled Gonzalez from Triple-A Tacoma on Monday.
He's grabbing the roster spot vacated by Jose Ferrer, who has gone on paternity leave. Gonzalez has posted a 1.80 ERA and 14:2 K:BB over 15 innings with Tacoma this season. He will be making his major-league debut when/if he enters a game.

The Mariners optioned Gonzalez to Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday.
Gonzalez has made four Cactus League appearances, permitting one run with a 4:1 K:BB over four innings. The 26-year-old was a waiver claim from the Mariners last August and has yet to make his major-league debut.

Mariners' Domingo Gonzalez: Claimed by Seattle
The Mariners claimed Gonzalez off waivers and optioned him to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday.
The right-hander was designated for assignment by Atlanta over the weekend but will retain a place on a 40-man roster with Seattle. Prior to the transaction, Gonzalez had spent the full season at Triple-A Gwinnett and had a 3.95 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 39:19 K:BB across 41 innings.

Braves' Domingo Gonzalez: Kicked off 40-man roster
Atlanta designated Gonzalez for assignment Sunday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
He'll surrender his spot on the 40-man roster to waiver claim Connor Seabold. A 25-year-old right-hander, Gonzalez has yet to make his MLB debut and has spent the entire 2025 season at Triple-A Gwinnett, logging a 3.95 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 39:19 K:BB in 41 innings out of the bullpen.

Added to the 40-man roster this offseason, Gonzalez permitted two runs with a 4:3 K:BB over 3.2 innings this spring. The 25-year-old reliever posted a 38.8 percent strikeout rate in the minors last season and has a good shot to make his major-league debut in 2025.
