Astros' Raynel Delgado: Contract selected
The Astros selected Delgado's contract from Triple-A Sugar Land on Friday.
Delgado was acquired via trade from the Rays earlier this week and now has been added to the major-league roster. The infielder has slashed .250/.320/.362 with three homers and 24 steals this season at Triple-A Durham. Delgado will be making his major-league debut when/if he gets into a game.

Astros' Raynel Delgado: Traded to Astros
The Astros acquired Delgado from the Rays on Wednesday in exchange for cash considerations, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Delgado has put together a .250/.320/.362 batting line with three homers and 24 steals this season at Triple-A Durham while seeing playing time at shortstop, second base and third base. The 26-year-old will report to Triple-A Sugar Land, where he will give Houston additional infield depth.

Rays' Raynel Delgado: Signs with Rays
Delgado signed a minor-league contract with an invitation to spring training with the Rays on Wednesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Delgado spent the entire 2025 season with the Brewers' Triple-A affiliate, slashing .281/.363/.378 with 53 RBI, 58 runs scored and 40 stolen bases across 474 plate appearances. The 25-year-old infielder has yet to make his big-league debut but will get a chance to compete for a roster spot during spring training.

Brewers' Ray Delgado: NRI deal from Milwaukee
The Brewers signed Delgado to a minor-league contract Friday that includes an invitation to spring training, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
The 24-year-old slashed .275/.365/.426 with nine homers and 22 stolen bases over 93 games with Triple-A Columbus in the Guardians organization in 2024. Delgado has not appeared in the majors but will get a shot in big-league camp with the Brewers.
