  • Rangers' Izack Tiger: Back in action

Tiger (elbow) was activated from the 60-day injured list June 21.

Tiger worked his way to a 2.70 ERA and 0.90 WHIP with a 14:2 K:BB across 6.2 frames in the Arizona Complex League while working his way back from a setback that popped up after undergoing an internal brace procedure in September of 2024. He's made two appearances at High-A Hub City since being activated, surrendering four runs on six hits and striking out six over 3.2 innings.

  • Rangers' Izack Tiger: Delayed by elbow setback

Tiger suffered a minor setback with his rehab from an internal brace surgery and is not scheduled to face hitters until the end of spring training, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Tiger missed all of last season following the September 2024 surgery. The 25-year-old was not going to make the Opening Day roster, as he's yet to advance past High-A and is coming off a lost campaign, and it's far from ideal that his development has been further delayed.

  • Rangers' Izack Tiger: To miss all of 2025

Tiger (elbow) will miss the 2025 season after undergoing internal brace surgery in September, MLB Pipeline reports.

Tiger has a pair of plus pitches in his fastball and slider and also throws a decent splitter. He will head into his age-25 season in 2026 with just 46 pro innings under his belt and zero experience above High-A.
