Steelers' Chris Boswell: Makes six kicks in Week 3 win
Boswell made all three of his field-goal attempts and each of his three extra-point tries during the Steelers' 30-27 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
Boswell missed one kick in each of the first two games of the regular season, but he was perfect during Sunday's win. He connected on field goals from 44, 36 and 33 yards, the last of which occurred just before the two-minute warning of the fourth quarter and gave Pittsburgh the lead for good. It appears the Steelers' offense may have figured something out in Week 3, and that continued success would raise Boswell's scoring floor over the coming weeks.

Steelers' Chris Boswell: Misses another kick in Week 2
Boswell went 1-for-2 on field-goal tries in Sunday's 20-3 loss to the Patriots.
Boswell pushed a 57-yard field-goal attempt wide left in the first quarter before later converting a 56-yarder as time expired in the first half. The kicker has now gone 3-for-5 on field-goal tries, including 1-for-3 from 50-plus yards, over two contests to open the 2026 campaign.

Steelers' Chris Boswell: Make four of five kicks in Week 1 win
Boswell went 2-for-3 on field-goal attempts and made both PATs in Sunday's 20-13 win over the Falcons.
Boswell's miss came from 56 yards in the fourth quarter, as he pushed it wide right. It kept Atlanta in the game trailing by just seven points with 6:58 to play. The veteran kicker's makes were from 43 and 28 yards. Boswell was fantasy's No. 16 overall kicker in points per game last season, as he made just 27 of 32 field-goal attempts and 42 of 43 extra-point tries over 17 regular-season games in a low-scoring Steelers offense.

Steelers' Chris Boswell: DNP on Friday
Boswell did not participate in Friday night's 17-0 preseason loss to the Jets.
Undrafted rookie Laith Marjan was given a chance to prove himself Friday night while Boswell rested. Marjan had an uneventful night, attempting only one kick. The rookie missed a 44-yard field goal wide left, not providing much tape to push Boswell to compete. Boswell signed a four-year extension in May after converting 27 of 32 field-goal attempts in 2025.

Steelers' Chris Boswell: Agrees to four-year extension
Boswell agreed to terms Monday on a four-year, $28 million contract extension with the Steelers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Boswell's deal matches the record-setting contract Brandon Aubrey earned with the Cowboys this offseason in terms of its $7 million annual average. That said, Boswell is 35 years old, and his contract could well have a potential 'out' before its conclusion in 2030. Boswell converted 27 of 32 field-goal attempts (84 percent) while suiting up for all 17 regular-season games 2025, in addition to 42 of 43 extra-point tries. He converted more than 90 percent of his field-goal tries in both 2023 and 2024.

Steelers' Chris Boswell: Survives blocked PAT in Week 18
Boswell made both of his field-goal tries and went 2-for-3 on extra-point attempts in Sunday's 26-24 victory against Baltimore.
Boswell put the Steelers on the board midway through the second quarter with a big 57-yard field goal. He added another FG -- this time a chip shot from 25 yards -- in the third period. The veteran kicker made his first two PAT tries, but he missed his third attempt, which came with less than one minute remaining in the game and could have given Pittsburgh a three-point lead. Though it wasn't immediately evident on the broadcast, the miss was eventually clarified to have been blocked, and it didn't end up costing the Steelers since Baltimore's Tyler Loop couldn't convert a 44-yard field-goal try as time expired. Boswell heads into the postseason having made 27 of 32 FG attempts -- including nine of 11 from 50-plus yards -- over 17 contests. The blocked PAT on Sunday was his first extra-point miss of the campaign on his 43rd try.

Boswell went 2-for-3 on field-goal tries in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Browns.
Boswell made field goals from 44 and 40 yards in the second quarter before later pushing a 54-yard attempt wide right in the fourth quarter. The miss was his fifth of the year, his highest total since missing eight field-goal tries in 2022. Boswell has now gone 25-for-30 on field-goal attempts, including 8-for-11 from 50-plus yards, while making all 40 of his PATs over 16 contests this season.

Steelers' Chris Boswell: Misses late FG in narrow win
Boswell converted two of three field-goal attempts and all three of his PATs in Sunday's 29-24 win over the Lions.
Boswell made field goals from 59 and 23 yards but banged a 37-yard attempt off the right upright late in the fourth quarter with 2:09 left in the contest. It would have put the Steelers up 32-24, however, Detroit got the ball back with a chance to win but had the game-winning TD called back on a penalty as time expired. On the season, Boswell has made 23 of 27 field-goal tries and all 40 PATs.

Steelers' Chris Boswell: Converts four PATs in Week 15 win
Boswell didn't try a field goal and made all four of his extra-point attempts in Monday's 28-15 win over the Dolphins.
Pittsburgh's offense was quiet in the first half but was able to squeeze out a touchdown with under 20 seconds remaining before halftime. Boswell punched through the point-after and then hit three more in the second half as the Steelers got into the end zone with more ease. Boswell hasn't had a field-goal try in three of his past four games, so fantasy managers in leagues that count kicking may want to look in a different direction.
