  • Dolphins' Cedric Ogbuehi: Headed for Miami

    Ogbuehi signed a contract with the Dolphins on Monday. Ogbuehi was able to find a new team quickly after he was released by the Jets on Thursday. The 31-year-old joined New York from the Texans' practice squad last October and had actually re-signed with the team in April, but the Jets apparently decided to move in a different direction. Ogbuehi started five games last season at offensive tackle and will likely compete for a depth role in the trenches for Miami.

  • Cedric Ogbuehi: Headed back to free agency

    The Jets released Ogbuehi on Thursday, Field Yates of ESPN reports. Ogbuehi will now become a free agent once again despite having just re-signed with the Jets back in April. The 31-year-old became expendable as New York subsequently signed Billy Turner and drafted Carter Warren. Ogbuehi started five games last season and will now look for a new team to sign with for the 2023 campaign.

    Ogbuehi re-signed with the Jets on Tuesday, Rich Cimini of ESPN reports. Ogbuehi will return to New York, where he started five games at right tackle after being signed off of the Texans' practice squad last season. The 2015 first-round pick will look to provide some much-needed depth for the Jets behind Max Mitchell.
