Austin Aune: Let go by Atlanta
The Falcons waived Aune on Friday, Scott Bair of the team's official site reports.
Aune signed with the Falcons in May as an undrafted free agent out of North Texas, but he's been let go following the team's mandatory minicamp. The former New York Yankees farmhand is 29 years old, so it's unlikely that another NFL team views him as an ideal developmental quarterback prospect to stash on the practice squad.
