Darius Latham: Waived by Oakland
Latham was waived by the Raiders on Thursday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Latham was waived just hours before the beginning of the 2018 NFL Draft. The 2016 undrafted free agent played 17 games for Oakland in the 2016 and 2017 seasons, but managed to log only 24 combined tackles. The 23-year-old was previously waived by the Raiders in December of 2017, and apparently did not impress enough on the practice squad to earn a spot on the 53-man roster. Latham will hope to find a depth role elsewhere in the league.

Raiders' Darius Latham: Rejoins Oakland
The Raiders promoted Latham from their practice squad Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Latham was waived by the Raiders earlier in December after appearing in just one game for the team on the season. The team was able to retain the 23-year-old on its practice squad, where Latham apparently performed well enough to warrant the promotion back to the 53-man roster. He'll likely serve in a depth role along the defensive line throughout his stint in Oakland.

Darius Latham: Let go by Raiders
Latham was waived by Oakland on Monday, Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
The decision to place Latham on waivers came after the reinstatement of Michael Crabtree from his suspension. Latham has been largely inactive this season due to a variety of reasons, including suspensions and injuries. His future in the NFL remains widely uncertain at the present time.

Raiders' Darius Latham: Suspension over
Latham has completed his suspension and is eligible to rejoin the Raiders' 53-man roster, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Tribune reports.
Latham was handed a four-game ban in early October for a violation of the league's substance-abuse policy. While it isn't clear if the Raiders will welcome him back with open arms or not, Oakland was granted a temporary roster exemption and will have until Nov. 13 to decide Latham's future with the team.

Raiders' Darius Latham: Handed four-game suspension
Latham has been suspended four games for a violation of the league's substance-abuse policy, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Latham, a reserve defensive tackle, won't be eligible to play again until the Raiders' date with the Patriots on Nov. 11. Since Treyvon Hester remains as the only backup to starters Justin Ellis and Eddie Vanderdoes, it wouldn't be much of a surprise if Oakland adds another defensive lineman for depth in the near future.

Raiders' Darius Latham: Limited Thursday
Latham (ankle) was limited in Thursday's practice, Scott Bair of CSN California reports.
Latham missed the Raiders' past two games but he appears to be nearing a return to action. If he's healthy he'll provide needed depth at defensive tackle, a position where Oakland has only two players not presently on the injury report.

Raiders' Darius Latham: Out Sunday
Latham (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills.
Latham was unable to practice throughout the week and will therefore be sidelined throughout the weekend as well. The backup defensive tackle has just 12 tackles on the season, so his absence won't be much of a blow to the Raiders' defensive front.
