Brock Hekking: Waived by Chargers
Hekking (foot) was waived by the Chargers on Tuesday, Jack Wang of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Hekking has spent the past two seasons on injured reserve, mostly recently due to a foot injury. It appears the 25-year-old might've been waived due to a failed physical. He'll now hit the open market but likely will have to prove he's still healthy enough to play for any interested team.

Chargers' Brock Hekking: Ends year on IR
Hekking spent the 2016 season on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury.
Hekking was waived with an injury designation by the Chargers and placed on IR after he cleared waivers. He'll look to remain healthy and catch on as a depth linebacker and special teams player in 2017.
