  • Daniel Brown: Lands on practice squad injured list

The Jets placed Brown (hip) on the practice squad injured list Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official website reports. After he was elevated from the practice squad in advance of Week 17, Brown played just 12 snaps and finished with two receptions for 29 yards in Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Buccaneers before departing with the hip injury. He reverted to the practice squad following the game and won't be available for the Jets' season finale against the Bills this weekend while he recovers from the injury. New York is expected to get top tight end Tyler Kroft back from the reserve/COVID-19 list for the Week 18 matchup, so the loss of Brown shouldn't prove too consequential.
