Panthers' Josh Thomas: Headed to Carolina
Thomas was claimed off waivers by the Panthers on Thursday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
The 26-year-old spent time in Buffalo and Arizona before being claimed by Carolina. The Appalachian State product has appeared in four games throughout his career, recording five tackles. Expect the safety to compete for a spot in Carolina's secondary ahead of the coming season.

Josh Thomas: Back from COVID list
Thomas (undisclosed) was restored to Buffalo's practice squad from the COVID-19 list Friday.
The 24-year-old landed on the COVID list at the start of the week, but he's now cleared the league's protocols. Thomas has one tackle in two appearances this season.
