  • Commanders' Olamide Zaccheaus: Three catches in Week 2

Zaccheaus secured all three of his targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 21-18 win over the Giants. Operating as the Commanders' fourth receiver, Zaccheaus played 24 of 72 offensive snaps Sunday. The veteran wideout saw three targets for the second-straight week as rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels finds his footing within Washington's passing attack. Zaccheaus' minimal production and spot on the depth chart, however, make him a difficult to trust for fantasy purposes going forward, barring injuries to Terry McLaurin, Luke McCaffrey or Dyami Brown. The Commanders square off against the Bengals in Week 3.

  • Commanders' Olamide Zaccheaus: Splits snaps with Dyami Brown

Zaccheaus caught one of three targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 37-20 loss at Tampa Bay, playing 44.6 percent of snaps on offense. Zacccheaus and Dyami Brown shared snaps at one receiver spot while Terry McLaurin mostly played out wide on the left side of the offense and Luke McCaffrey worked the slot. Zaccheaus ended up running 13 routes, which was one more than Brown, who finished without a target. Fantasy value, even in deep leagues, likely will require one of the two to pull away from the other and become a true starter rather than a snap sharer. It remains to be seen if that will happen Week 2 against the Giants or Week 3 against the Bengals.

  • Commanders' Olamide Zaccheaus: Competing for starting job

Coach Dan Quinn suggested Thursday that Zaccheaus is competing for the Commanders' No. 2 receiver role, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports. 2022 first-round pick Jahan Dotson entered camp as a clear favorite for the role, but there have been some signs he's not exactly a lock, including his extended playing time in the preseason opener against New York. Quinn is now confirming there's a competition, with Zaccheaus and Dyami Brown presumably the main candidates to displace Dotson (and rookie third-round pick Luke McCaffrey possibly also in the mix for a top-three role). Zaccheaus only get a few snaps with the first-team offense in the preseason opener, but one of those was a 42-yard catch on the third play of the game.

  • Commanders' Olamide Zaccheaus: Moving on to Washington

Zaccheaus has agreed to a deal with the Commanders, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. In his only campaign with the Eagles, Zaccheaus (who caught 40 passes with the Falcons in 2022) finished the 2023 regular season with 10 catches for 164 yards and two TDs in 17 games. With the Commanders, the 26-year-old will add depth to a wideout corps that is currently led by Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson. In that context, Zaccheaus has some bounce-back potential if he can carve out steady snaps in 2024 behind the team's top duo.

  • Eagles' Olamide Zaccheaus: Targets drop with new team

Zaccheaus finished the year with 10 catches for 164 yards and a pair of touchdowns in 17 regular-season games. Zaccheaus was targeted 53 and 61 times in his final two seasons in Atlanta, but that number dropped all the way to 20 after his move to Philadelphia. He went without a target in six games and without a catch nine times. He'll be a free agent this offseason but didn't set himself up well for a substantial payday.

  • Eagles' Olamide Zaccheaus: No targets in Week 13

Zacchaeus didn't log any targets in Sunday's 42-19 loss to the 49ers. Zaccheaus now has seven catches and 14 targets in 12 games played this season after going untargeted for the first time since Week 2. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith combined for 24 targets, leaving little for the rest of the receiving corps, even in a game in which the Eagles threw 48 times.

  • Eagles' Olamide Zaccheaus: Hauls in 29-yard touchdown

Zaccheaus hauled in his lone target in Sunday's 37-34 overtime win over the Bills for a 29-yard touchdown. On third-and-15 with the Eagles losing, 24-21, in the fourth quarter, Jalen Hurts scrambled to his left and found Zacchaeus in the back corner of the end zone, and the wide receiver hauled in the pass above two Buffalo defenders to give his team the lead. It was an impressive highlight, but given that Zaccheaus has fewer catches (seven) than games played (11) this season, his fantasy relevance remains minimal.

  • Eagles' Olamide Zaccheaus: Finishes with one catch

Zacchaeus pulled in one of his two targets for five yards in Sunday's win over Washington. Zaccheaus remained the third wideout in the absence of Quez Watkins (hamstring), out-snapping recent addition Julio Jones by a 29-15 margin. Both receivers finished with just two targets and one reception, however. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith combined for 15 catches, 229 yards and three scores, leaving little work for the rest of the receiving corps.

  • Eagles' Olamide Zaccheaus: Not targeted in Week 5

Zaccheaus was on the field for just nine offensive snaps in Sunday's 23-14 win over the Rams and was not targeted a single time. Quez Watkins returned from a two-game absence due to a hamstring injury, pushing Zaccheaus down to the fourth wide receiver on the depth chart. With Watkins unavailable, Zaccheaus averaged 1.5 catches for 34.5 yards and 0.5 touchdowns while seeing the field for an average of 50 offensive snaps per outing. In the three games Watkins has participated in, Zaccheaus hasn't been targeted once and has seen the field for an average of 17 offensive snaps per week.

  • Eagles' Olamide Zaccheaus: One catch in Week 4

Zaccheaus finished Sunday's 34-31 overtime win against the Commanders with one reception for 11 yards. Again elevated to third wideout in the absence of Quez Watkins (hamstring), Zaccheaus was targeted just twice against Washington. The Eagles were running three-receiver sets for nearly the entire game, with Zaccheaus on the field for 57 snaps, but as usual, most of the targets went to the elite duo of A.J. Brown (13) and DeVonta Smith (nine).

  • Eagles' Olamide Zaccheaus: Scores first Eagles touchdown

Zaccheaus caught two passes on three targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in Monday's victory over the Buccaneers. Zaccheaus didn't receive a single target in his first two games as an Eagle, but Jalen Hurts looked his way on three occasions Monday, one of which resulted in a 34-yard touchdown pass. Zacchaeus' expanded role was enable by the absence of No. 3 WR Quez Watkins (hamstring). If Watkins misses more time, Zaccheaus should continue to catch the occasional pass, but the vast majority of the Eagles' wideout targets go to A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

  • Eagles' Olamide Zaccheaus: No targets in Week 2

Zaccheaus was not targeted in Thursday's Week 2 win over the Vikings. Zaccheaus saw the field for just 11 offensive snaps in Week 1 but saw that figure jump to 35 in Week 2, largely because third wideout Quez Watkins exited with a hamstring injury in the second quarter. Zaccheaus failed to do anything with those extra opportunities, which doesn't bode well for his fantasy viability even if Watkins misses multiple games.

  • Eagles' Olamide Zaccheaus: Ready to play Week 1

Zaccheaus (shoulder) isn't listed Wednesday on the Eagles' Week 1 injury report. Zaccheaus injured his shoulder in Philadelphia's second preseason game but didn't seem to miss much practice time thereafter. He'll most likely open his tenure with the Eagles as the No. 4 receiver this Sunday against New England, but he could end up eventually replacing Quez Watkins as the No. 3 wideout or splits snaps with him. Either way, the two are unlikely to combine for more than a handful of targets Week 1 given that AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert all are healthy.

  • Eagles' Olamide Zaccheaus: Joining Philadelphia

Zaccheaus agreed to a contract with the Eagles on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. In 17 games with the Falcons in 2022, Zaccheaus recorded a career-high 40 catches for 533 yards and three touchdowns. With Philadelphia, the 25-year-old will likely be competing with Quez Watkins for the No. 3 receiver role behind the Eagles' clear-cut top two wideouts, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

  • Falcons' Olamide Zaccheaus: Heavily involved in Week 18

Zaccheaus totaled four receptions on seven targets for 37 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 30-17 win versus the Buccaneers. Zaccheaus caught his first touchdown since Week 5 and saw at least seven targets for just the third time on the campaign, with two of those instances coming with Desmond Ridder at the helm. Overall however, the wideout struggled in four games with the rookie at quarterback, totaling just eight receptions on 17 targets for 55 yards compared to 32 receptions for 478 yards across 13 games with Marcus Mariota as the starter. Over the past two seasons, Zaccheaus has caught 71 of 114 targets for 939 yards and six touchdowns, and he'll likely test the free agent market this offseason after his one-year deal expires.

  • Falcons' Olamide Zaccheaus: Four grabs in loss to Baltimore

Zaccheaus caught four of seven targets for 18 yards in Saturday's 17-9 loss to the Ravens. For the second straight game with Desmond Ridder under center, Zaccheaus failed to make much of an impact, as the rookie QB focused on feeding the ball to Drake London. Zaccheaus has already set career highs in catches (36) and receiving yards (496) this season, but his campaign may be poised to end with a whimper. He'll try to get on the same page as his new quarterback in Week 17 against the Cardinals.

  • Falcons' Olamide Zaccheaus: Held without a catch

Zaccheaus didn't record a catch on three targets during Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Saints. Zaccheaus was held without a catch for the first time this season. Atlanta's passing game struggled as a unit with Desmond Ridder making his NFL debut, and Drake London, who finished with seven receptions on 11 targets for 70 yards, dominated the majority of the work through the air. Coming into the contest, Zaccheaus had secured 32 of 44 targets for 478 yards and two touchdowns across 13 appearances, making him worthy of consideration in deeper leagues. However, what little fantasy value Zaccheaus had with Marcus Mariota (knee) may be gone, with Ridder set to start Atlanta's final three regular season games.

  • Falcons' Olamide Zaccheaus: Week 13 Waiver Priority List

In the first game without Kyle Pitts (knee), Zaccheaus led the Falcons with five catches for 91 yards on eight targets in Week 12 at Washington. We'll see if that level of production continues or if (hopefully) more goes to Drake London, but Zaccheaus is worth adding in deeper leagues to find out. Zaccheaus gets the Steelers in Week 13 before a bye in Week 14, so he's only worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Falcons' Olamide Zaccheaus: Two receptions in loss

Zaccheaus hauled in both of his two targets for 19 yards during Sunday's 20-17 loss against the Chargers. Zaccheaus has caught multiple passes in eight of nine games this season, totaling 22 receptions for 331 yards and two scores. He's quietly emerged as Marcus Mariota's most reliable pass-catcher, but his overall fantasy potential remains limited due to Atlanta's struggling passing attack. Zaccheaus will look to continue his consistent play against the Panthers on Thursday.

  • Falcons' Olamide Zaccheaus: Only one catch in win

Zaccheaus caught his only target for 10 yards during Sunday's 37-34 overtime victory versus Carolina. Coming into the contest Zaccheaus had secured multiple receptions in each of the first seven games of the season, totaling 19 catches on 22 targets for 302 yards. However, he saw just one opportunity during Sunday's win as Kyle Pitts (nine), Damiere Byrd (six) and Drake London (five) saw more targets. Despite a strong start to the campaign, Zaccheaus' fantasy production was always likely to be limited, so it isn't surprising to see him finally submit a dud. The 5-foot-8 wideout will look to get back on track against the Chargers in Week 9.
