  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Ready to face Jags

Crosby does not have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against Jacksonville.

Crosby suffered a knee injury in Week 7 but had a bye week to rest up prior to Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars. He upgraded to a full session Friday and should be ready to play his typical snap rate in Week 9.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Back at practice Thursday

Crosby (knee) participated in Thursday's practice, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.

Crosby sustained a knee injury during the second quarter of the Raiders' Week 7 loss to the Chiefs. He had extra time to rest thanks to the Week 8 bye, and his ability to practice Thursday indicates that he is trending toward being available for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Charles Snowden, Tyree Wilson and rookie fourth-rounder Tonka Hemingway would pick up more rotational snaps at defensive end if Crosby is unable to play Week 9.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Crosby (knee/back) did not practice Wednesday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.

Crosby may not practice until Friday, coach Pete Carroll said, according to McFadden. The expectation is Crosby will play Sunday against the Jaguars. Crosby has produced 28 tackles (18 solo), including 4.0 sacks, nine QB hits and five pass breakups, including one interception, across seven games this season.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Unlikely to leave Las Vegas

The Raiders don't plan to trade Crosby (knee), Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Pelissero notes that while other teams have communicated interest in acquiring Crosby, Las Vegas has no intention of trading the star defensive end, who has expressed a desire to remain with the Raiders. Crosby has spent his entire career with the franchise after being drafted by the Raiders in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, and he's accumulated 63.5 career regular-season sacks, including 4.0 this season. Though Crosby left this past Sunday's game against Kansas City in the second quarter due to a knee issue, he's not dealing with a major injury and, "should be okay moving forward," per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Removal from Week 7 precautionary

Crosby's (knee) removal from Sunday's 31-0 loss to the Chiefs is viewed as a precautionary measure, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Crosby left in the second quarter of Sunday's game, and with the Raiders facing a large deficit, the decision was made to keep the star pass rusher on the sideline. The Raiders are on a bye for Week 8, so even if Crosby's injury is considered more serious than initially expected, he'll have extra time to heal and should be ready to go for a Nov. 2 matchup with the Jaguars.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Unlikely to return vs. Kansas City

Crosby (knee/back) is doubtful to return to Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Crosby suffered the injuries in the second quarter, and the veteran pass rusher is unlikely to be cleared to return to Sunday's game. If he is in fact done for the day, he'll finish with three tackles (one solo). Charles Snowden and Tyree Wilson will see more snaps on defense while Crosby is out of the game.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Sacks Ward twice Sunday

Crosy recorded three total tackles (all solo), including 2.0 sacks, in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Titans.

The All-Pro edge rusher was one of four Raiders to sack Cam Ward during Sunday's win. Crosby has now tallied 25 total tackles, including 4.0 sacks, and five passes defended, including one interception, over Las Vegas' first six games this season. He's expected to remain one of the NFL's premier defensive playmakers in the Week 7 divisional matchup against the Chiefs.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Logs three tackles in loss

Crosby tallied three solo tackles in the Raiders' loss Sunday versus the Colts.

Crosby was dealing with a knee injury last week, but he managed to play all but three of the team's defensive snaps during the blowout loss. The 28-year-old has recorded just 2.0 sacks across the first five games of the season, and he will look to have a more productive outing versus the Titans in Week 6.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Cleared to play Week 5

Crosby (knee) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Colts.

Crosby popped up on Thursday's practice report as a limited participant due to a knee injury. He managed to log a full practice Friday and has been cleared to play in Sunday's road tilt.
