  • Raiders' Janarius Robinson: Suspended three games

    Robinson (hand) has been suspended for three games for violating the NFL's Substances of Abuse Policy, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports. Robinson will now be forced to miss the remainder of the regular season as he serves his suspension. The defensive lineman will finish his second season with the Raiders having produced five total tackles (two solo), including 0.5 sacks, while also adding a pass defensed over 10 games.

    Philadelphia signed Robinson from Minnesota's practice squad Tuesday. The Eagles are scrambling for reps on the edge of their defensive line after starter Derek Barnett (ACL) was ruled out for the season. Robinson missed all of his rookie season after being selected in the fourth round of the 2021 Draft, so he's probably not very polished, but he does have the athletic tools to potentially make an impact in a reserve role at defensive end (6-foot-5, 263 lbs., 4.69-second 40 yard dash).
