    The Ravens waived Cleveland on Thursday. Cleveland missed the Ravens' last three games while serving a suspension for violating the NFL's Substances of Abuse Policy, and while that suspension was lifted Monday, he will not be on the Ravens' active roster heading into Sunday's regular-season finale against the Steelers. Cleveland could opt to stay with the Ravens on the practice squad or explore his options elsewhere.

    The NFL lifted Cleveland's three-game suspension Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Cleveland has served his three-game suspension for violating the league's Substances of Abuse Policy. The fifth-year pro will be available for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Steelers, when he'll serve in a rotational role on the Ravens' offensive line and as a contributor on special teams.

  • Ravens' Ben Cleveland: Re-ups with Baltimore

    The Ravens are re-signing Cleveland to a contract. Cleveland worked as a backup at left guard last year and played in all 19 of Baltimore's regular-season and postseason contests. He'll likely again work in a rotational role now that he's back with Baltimore, though he could be facing punishment from the league after being arrested for DUI in mid-February.
