  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: WRs to Sit

I thought Worthy had the chance to play well in Week 13 at Dallas, and he scored 11.4 PPR points. That was his best performance since Week 4, but clearly, it's tough to trust Worthy in the majority of leagues heading into Week 14 against Houston. The Texans are No. 3 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and only six guys have scored more than 12 PPR points against Houston this season. Worthy only has one touchdown on the year, and the Chiefs are dealing with several key injuries on their offensive line. Worthy is barely worth using in three-receiver leagues in Week 14.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

I thought Worthy had the chance to play well in Week 13 at Dallas, and he scored 11.4 PPR points. • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Four grabs in Thanksgiving loss

Worthy caught four of six targets for 61 yards in Thursday's 31-28 loss to the Cowboys. He added 13 yards on two carries. Most of the damage came on a 42-yard reception late in the fourth quarter that helped set up Kansas City's final score of the day. Worthy's 61 receiving yards were his highest total since Week 4, and he's gone six straight games without getting into the end zone, posting a 22-256-0 line on 37 targets over that stretch while chipping in another 33 rushing yards. The second-year speedster seems unlikely to break out Week 14 against the Texans.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: No limitations in practice Tuesday

Worthy (ankle) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice. Kansas City estimated Worthy as a limited participant on its initial Week 13 practice report issued Monday, but the second-year wideout took every rep Tuesday to put to rest any doubt about his availability for Thursday's game against the Cowboys. Since Rashee Rice made his season debut Week 7 and reclaimed his spot as the clear No. 1 wideout, Worthy has struggled to deliver useful fantasy production. In the last five games, Worthy hasn't recorded a touchdown and hasn't eclipsed 60 yards from scrimmage in any contest.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Limited on Monday's estimate

Worthy (ankle) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate. Worthy continues to manage an ankle issue, but the wideout was able to log a 77 percent snap share in Sunday's 23-20 overtime win over the Colts, while catching four of his eight targets for 59 yards in the contest. With no reported setbacks, his listed limitations Monday were presumably maintenance-related. Worthy now has two more chances to log a full practice listing before Kansas City's Week 13 injury designations are posted ahead of Thursday's game against the Cowboys.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: More involved in OT win

Worthy caught four of eight targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 23-20 overtime win over the Colts. The reception and yardage totals were his best showing since Week 8, while the target volume was Worthy's highest since Week 5. The second-year speedster has gone five straight games without getting into the end zone, managing just an 18-195-0 line on 31 targets over that span, but Worthy will get a chance to break out against a shaky secondary in Week 13 during a Thanksgiving tilt against the Cowboys.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Expected to suit up Sunday

Worthy, who is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts due to an ankle injury, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Worthy first suffered an ankle injury in practice Nov. 13, and he tweaked the ankle a few days later in a loss to Denver. The second-year wideout sat out the Chiefs' first Week 12 practice before advancing to limited work Thursday and then full activity Friday. Worthy looks like he'll be able to suit up in a big AFC battle against Indianapolis, and he should again operate as Kansas City's No. 2 wideout behind Rashee Rice.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Listed as limited Thursday

Worthy (ankle) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice. Worthy returned to the practice field after sitting out Wednesday, but he wasn't able to shed all limitations. Unless Worthy continues the positive trend and practices fully Friday, he will likely carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Colts. Worthy has dealt with ankle injuries throughout the season, but his only two absences came in Weeks 2 and 3 due to a dislocated shoulder.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: WRs to Sit

Worthy had another down game in Week 11 at Denver with three catches for 25 yards on five targets. He has now scored 10.3 PPR points or less in each of the four games since Rashee Rice returned from his six-game suspension, and Worthy only has one touchdown on the year. There appears to be little upside with Worthy heading into Week 12, and he could be headed for a matchup with Indianapolis cornerback Sauce Gardner. Worthy is barely worth starting in three-receiver leagues in this matchup.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Three catches in loss

Worthy caught three of five targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 22-19 loss to the Broncos. Worthy caught three catches for the second straight game, but like in his last outing, was unable to get much going with his touches. The second-year wideout has not been a significant factor in Kansas City's passing game with teammate Rashee Rice in the lineup, despite Worthy averaging around six targets per game since Rice's return from suspension. Worthy has not had many breakout performances this season, but does typically offer a decent floor based on his involvement in the Chiefs offense. The 22-year-old will look to turn things around from his underwhelming day in Denver when the Chiefs host the Colts in Week 12.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Contrarian DFS Play

If Xavier Worthy and Patrick Mahomes actually connect on one of these deep balls Worthy could look like a brilliant tournament play. The opportunities have been there and I expect the Chiefs will have to take a few of those shots against the Colts.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Added to injury report Thursday

Worthy was limited at practice Thursday due to an ankle injury. Worthy wasn't listed on the Chiefs' initial Week 11 injury report Wednesday, so his addition to it a day later is notable. It's unclear if the wideout's ankle issue cropped up after Wednesday's practice or occurred during Thursday's session, but his status is now worth tracking as Sunday's game against the Broncos approaches. Hollywood Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Tyquan Thornton would be candidates to log added snaps behind Rashee Rice if Worthy is out or limited this weekend.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: WRs to Sit

Since Rashee Rice returned from his six-game suspension, Worthy has struggled to produce for Fantasy managers with a combined 24.1 PPR points over that span, with no touchdowns. He does have seven targets in each of his past two games against Washington and Buffalo, but Worthy is too tough to trust now that Rice is back on the field. And this week, Worthy should be used in only deep, three-receiver leagues at Denver. The Broncos are No. 1 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and this secondary should make things tough on Worthy, even if cornerback Patrick Surtain II (pectoral) remains out.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Gains 30 yards on four touches

Worthy had three receptions on seven targets for 23 yards while taking his only carry for seven yards in Sunday's 28-21 loss to the Bills. Worthy tied Rashee Rice for the team lead in targets Sunday, but that's about where the good news ends. The 22-year-old Worthy couldn't turn those opportunities into production, finishing fourth in receiving despite garnering such a large share of targets. The speedy gadget receiver is still providing a decent floor for fantasy in his current role, but we haven't seen him explode for a notable performance yet. Perhaps Worthy can finally rip off a long score when the Chiefs return from the upcoming bye to face the Broncos in Week 11.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: WRs to Sit

In two games with Rashee Rice back for the Chiefs, Worthy has struggled with a combined eight catches for 88 yards and no touchdowns on 11 targets. We'll see if he can get going in Week 9 against the Bills, but Worthy should only be considered a No. 3 Fantasy receiver at best in the majority of leagues. The Bills are No. 11 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to receivers, but this isn't about the matchup so much as it is the targets. Rice has taken away all the momentum from Worthy since coming back.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Nabs five passes on MNF

Worthy reeled in five of seven targets for 53 yards during Monday's 28-7 victory over the Commanders. The second-year wideout logged the second-most snaps among Kansas City wideouts Monday, with his 58 coming in one shy of Rashee Rice (59). Worthy also claimed his highest target volume since Week 5 after recording just four targets in each of the last two tilts. He enters Week 9 as the No. 2 WR ahead of Hollywood Brown but remains firmly behind Rice -- who has claimed 19 targets in two games since returning from a six-game suspension -- in the pecking order.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Limited targets again

Worthy recorded three receptions on four targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 31-0 win over the Raiders. He added one rush for 13 yards. Worthy saw only four targets for the second consecutive game, a concerning trend given the return of Rashee Rice in Sunday's shutout win. Rice immediately came back to lead the team in every receiving stat and will likely remain Patrick Mahomes' favorite target moving forward. That will leave Worthy reliant on big plays to produce strong fantasy performances and make him more of a boom-or-bust option in future weeks.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: WRs to Start

Rashee Rice is back this week, but I still like Worthy as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues. The Raiders are No. 6 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and Rice and Worthy should both perform well in this matchup. Worthy has either 100 total yards or a touchdown in two of his past three games, and he has at least eight targets in two outings over that span. We'll see how Rice and Worthy perform together moving forward, but Worthy should still be productive in Week 7 given the matchup.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Active Monday, as expected

Worthy (shoulder/ankle) is listed as active Monday at Jacksonville, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports. Worthy put an end to a two-game absence Week 4 against the Ravens after recovering from the dislocated right shoulder that he suffered in the season opener. Overall, he played 59 percent of the snaps en route to five catches (on eight targets) for 83 yards and two carries for 38 yards. Worthy proceeded to be listed as a full participant during Week 5 prep, but his status was changed to questionable after his ankle swelled up on the Chiefs' flight to Jacksonville. However, now that his status is confirmed for Monday's contest, Worthy will slot in as Kansas City's No. 1 wide receiver.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Ankle swelled up Sunday

Worthy's ankle swelled up on the Chiefs' flight to Jacksonville on Sunday, and Kansas City added him to the injury report as questionable as a precaution, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports. According to Wolfe, the Chiefs will see how Worthy feels Monday ahead of the team's game against the Jaguars. Worthy wasn't even on the injury report this week and practiced in full, so it's unclear when he even came down with this ankle issue. Fantasy managers need to have another plan in place in case Worthy is deemed unable to play. Tyquan Thornton, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Dyami Brown and Parker Washington are options that may be found on the waiver wire.
