Vikings' Charles Demmings: Will miss some time

Head coach Kevin O'Connell said Demmings will miss some time due to a hamstring injury, Ben Goessling of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports. Demmings injured his hamstring during the second half of Sunday's win over the Buccaneers and is now expected to miss the Week 4 matchup versus Miami, at minimum. The rookie fifth-round pick failed to record any tackles across his first three outings and should continue to serve a depth role once healthy.

Demmings (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's contest against the Buccaneers. Demmings suffered a hamstring injury in the third quarter, and his day has now officially come to a premature end. In his absence, the Vikings have become rather thin in the secondary.
