  • Packers' Jordon Riley: Sent to IR

The Packers placed Riley (Achilles) on injured reserve Tuesday.

Riley suffered a torn Achilles in the Packers' loss to the Ravens this past Saturday night. The 27-year-old signed with Green Bay off the Giants' practice squad earlier this month and had become a key member of the defensive-line rotation. He recorded two tackles (two solo) on 64 defensive snaps across four games with the Packers.

  • Packers' Jordon Riley: Done for 2025

Head coach Matt LaFleur said Sunday that Riley is done for the rest of the 2025 season due to an Achilles injury, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

Riley sustained the injury during the Packers' 41-24 loss to the Ravens on Saturday. Further tests have revealed that the injury is severe enough that the third-year defensive tackle will not return for the rest of the season, and the issue could impact his availability for the start of the 2026 campaign. Riley signed a contract with the Packers in early December and mostly worked in a rotational role at defensive tackle, finishing with two solo tackles across four regular-season games.

  • Packers' Jordon Riley: Ruled out with Achilles

Riley (Achilles) has been ruled out for the remainder of Saturday night's game against the Ravens, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.

Riley had to be carted off the field at the beginning of the second quarter, and the defensive tackle will not be able to return to the contest. The 27-year-old's absence means that Warren Brinson will likely see a higher percentage of defensive snaps for the rest of Saturday's game.

  • Giants' Jordon Riley: Able to play Week 14

Riley (knee) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Saints, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Riley entered Sunday deemed questionable to suit up after being limited in practice throughout the week, but he'll be able to give it a go against New Orleans. The second-year nose tackle could be in line for a healthy dose of defensive snaps with Dexter Lawrence (elbow) on injured reserve.

  • Giants' Jordon Riley: Questionable for Week 14

Riley (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game versus New Orleans.

Riley was a limited participant in all three practices this week. He played a season-high 31 defensive snaps last week versus Dallas after playing a combined 35 across the first 11 weeks of the season.

  • Giants' Jordon Riley: Left off injury report

Riley (finger) wasn't on the Giants' injury report Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Riley has been dealing with a finger injury that he suffered during the Giants' Week 12 win over the Patriots, but it now seems like he's had enough time to move past the issue.. The rookie nose tackle has appeared in three games for New York thus far, recording one total tackle and playing 76 percent of his total snaps on defense.

  • Giants' Jordon Riley: Questionable to return

Riley (finger) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Patriots, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

The backup defensive tackle got a chance to play Sunday with Dexter Lawrence out with a hamstring injury. Riley did not record a tackle before exiting.

  • Giants' Jordon Riley: Big body goes to New York

The Giants selected Riley in the seventh round of the NFL Draft, 243rd overall.

Riley is a huge presence in the interior (6-foot-5, 338 pounds) and could be an interesting space eater on the team's defensive line. The Giants have a number of rotational nose tackles currently on the roster, but it's possible Riley could force a bit of a reconfiguration up front.
