  Riley (Achilles) had his 21-day practice window opened by the Packers on Wednesday, Mike Spofford of the team's official site reports. Riley has been on the active/PUP list since Aug. 31 while continuing to recover from a torn Achilles tendon. The defensive lineman made his return to practice Wednesday, logging a limited session to open the week. With Javon Hargrave (Achilles) done for the season, Riley's return to action will be a welcomed one, whenever that may be.

• Packers' Jordon Riley: Moved to reserve/PUP list

  The Packers moved Riley (Achilles) from the active/PUP list to the reserve/PUP list on Sunday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports. Riley suffered a torn Achilles tendon in Week 17 of the 2025 regular season. The defensive tackle will continue to work his way back from the issue through the beginning of the 2026 regular season. Even if Riley quickly regains his health, the 28-year-old must miss the first four weeks of the season on the reserve/PUP list before becoming eligible to return to the active roster.

  Riley (Achilles) is not expected to be back for training camp, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Riley continues to work his way back from a torn Achilles tendon he suffered in Week 17 of the 2025 regular season. Coach Matt LaFleur praised the nose tackle's recovery effort, but the team still does not expect him back soon. The 28-year-old's return date now lies somewhere near the start of the regular season and it is unclear how many games he may miss.

Riley continues to recover from a torn Achilles that he suffered in Week 17 of the 2025 regular season against the Ravens. His placement on the active/PUP list means he'll be eligible to participate in training camp practices when fully healthy. However, it's unclear whether Riley has progressed enough to return to practice or whether his absence will extend into the regular season.
