DeAngelo Malone: Visits Tampa Bay
Malone (ankle) visited the Bucs on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The 26-year-old edge rusher appeared in nine regular-season games for the Falcons last season, operating primarily on special teams, before he was placed on injured reserve in November. Malone has made 58 career regular-season appearances across four seasons, producing 59 tackles (32 solo), including 3.0 sacks.

Falcons' DeAngelo Malone: Lands on IR
The Falcons placed Malone (ankle) on injured reserve Thursday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
Malone suffered the ankle injury in Sunday's loss to the Colts. While coach Raheem Morris called the injury significant, an exact diagnosis is unclear. Malone will now be out until at least Week 15.

Falcons' DeAngelo Malone: Won't return vs. Indianapolis
Malone (ankle) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Colts, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
Malone picked up the injury in the second half, which is severe enough for him to not return. The 2022 third-rounder has been deployed mostly on special teams, but his absence depletes the Falcons' depth at inside linebacker for the rest of Sunday's contest.

Falcons' DeAngelo Malone: Headed to Peach State
The Falcons selected Malone in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 82nd overall.
Malone is probably too small to play much defensive end at 6-foot-3, 243 pounds, but the Western Kentucky product was exceptionally productive as an edge defender in college and will get every chance to emerge as an eventual starting outside linebacker in Atlanta's 3-4.
