Gillespie reverted to Kansas City's IR after being waived Aug. 28, but he's reached an injury settlement with the Chiefs that allows him to sign elsewhere once he proves he's past his undisclosed injury. The Missouri product's last regular-season game came in 2022 with the Jaguars, when he appeared in three games and recorded no stats on 28 special-teams snaps.
