Adams (thumb) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the 49ers, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports. Adams was unable to practice all week after he seemingly sustained a thumb injury during the Cardinals' Week 4 loss to the Commanders, so it's no surprise he won't suit up Sunday. Expect Trystan Colon to serve as Arizona's top reserve guard while Adams is sidelined in Week 5.
