Bryce Pierre: Gets tryout in Las Vegas
Pierre had a tryout with the Raiders on Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Pierre was waived from the Panthers' injured reserve in June with an injury settlement. The tight end has recovered from his undisclosed illness and is ready to regain a position on an NFL roster. Pierre spent time with the Panthers in 2025 after leaving UCLA, so the Raiders would be the second stop on his NFL journey.

The Panthers waived Pierre (undisclosed) from IR with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Pierre signed a reserve/future contract with Carolina in January but was waived with an injury designation in mid-May. He subsequently reverted to IR, putting him in line to miss the entire season. However, since Pierre and the Panthers have reached an injury settlement, the tight end can join another organization once he's healthy.

Bryce Pierre: Joins Carolina's practice squad
The Panthers signed Pierre to their practice squad Thursday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Pierre wasn't claimed by another club after Carolina waived him Tuesday, so he was free to come back as a member of the practice squad. It will almost certainly take an injury to one of the tight ends on the Panthers' active roster for Pierre to be elevated in 2025.

Bryce Pierre: Waived by Panthers
Carolina waived Pierre on Tuesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Pierre spent the offseason with the Panthers, and the undrafted rookie out of UCLA would be a reasonable candidate to resurface on the practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers. In his final collegiate season, Pierre suited up for 10 games and logged 10 catches for 94 yards (no touchdowns).
