Falcons' Michael Jerrell: Placed on injured reserve
The Falcons placed Jerrell (biceps) on injured reserve Saturday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.
Jerrell was already ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers due to a biceps injury. He's now required to miss at least four games, so the next time he's eligible to play is Week 12 against the Vikings on Sunday, Nov. 29. Jerrell's absence leaves the Falcons with less depth on the offensive line.

Falcons' Michael Jerrell: Won't play Week 7
Jerrell (biceps) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
Jerrell didn't practice Thursday nor Friday due to a biceps injury, which is severe enough for him to miss Sunday's game. The Falcons will have less depth on the offensive line because of the absence of Jerrell, whose next chance to play is Week 8 against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Nov. 1.

Falcons' Michael Jerrell: Acquired by Atlanta
The Falcons acquired Jerrell from the Seahawks on Tuesday, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
A sixth-round pick out of Findlay last year, Jerrell appeared in one regular-season games as a rookie, making a trio of starts at right tackle. With both Kaleb McGary (leg) and Storm Norton (ankle) injured for Atlanta, Jerrell gives the Falcons some experienced depth.
