  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Limited Thursday

Dotson (toe) was a limited participant in practice Thursday. It appears to be a new issue for the wide receiver, who played 31 offensive snaps last week against Chicago. Dotson's status will be worth monitoring as the practice week continues ahead of Monday night's matchup with the Chargers. The fourth-year pro has 11 catches for 206 yards and a touchdown this year.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: One catch vs. Chicago

Dotson caught one of three targets for 12 yards in Friday's 24-15 loss to the Bears. Dotson tied his season high in targets and recorded the fourth-most receiving yards on the Eagles during Sunday's loss. The 25-year-old has played a minimal role on Philadelphia's offense this season, recording 206 receiving yards and one touchdown on 11 receptions across 12 games. He's likely to operate as the team's No. 3 wide receiver but carry minimal fantasy value in the Week 14 matchup against the Chargers.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Third zero-catch game of 2025

Dotson failed to pull in his lone target in Monday's 10-7 victory over the Packers. Dotson finished with zero catches for the second time in three games and the third time all year. He also saw the field for just 19 offensive snaps, his lowest total in two seasons as an Eagle. He has fewer receptions (eight) than games played (nine) this season.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Gets into end zone Sunday

Dotson made one catch on two targets for a 40-yard touchdown in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Giants. Even with A.J. Brown (hamstring) ruled out, Dotson didn't see a significant increase in his role, but he made his opportunities count by hauling in Jalen Hurts' fourth TD of the day in the fourth quarter. The Eagles will get a Week 9 bye, which may give Brown enough time to get back onto the field, but if he remains sidelined in Week 10 against the Packers, Dotson could have some deep-league appeal.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Catches one pass

Dotson caught one pass for 24 yards in Sunday's loss to the Broncos. Dotson was on the field for 71 percent of the Eagles' offensive snaps, his second-highest snap share of the year, but it didn't result in a significant role. He's now been held to one or fewer catches in 19 of his 23 regular-season games with the Eagles over the last two years.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: No catches in Week 4

Dotson was not targeted a single time in Sunday's 31-25 win over the Buccaneers. Dotson has rarely recorded more than one catch in a game during his two seasons with the Eagles, and he didn't even reach that low threshold Sunday. He's now been blanked seven times in 21 regular season games with the team.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Another one-catch game

Dotson caught one of his three targets for seven yards in Sunday's 33-26 win over the Rams. After finishing Week 1 with three catches for 59 yards, Dotson has just one reception in both of the last two weeks. He did play a season-high 49 offensive snaps against the Rams, likely due to the fact that the Eagles were trailing for most of the game, but that didn't result in a large number of targets.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Catches two passes

Dotson caught both of his targets for 27 yards in Thursday's preseason game against Cincinnati. Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com notes that Dotson and RG Tyler Steen were the only projected starters on offense to play for Philadelphia. It's not where Dotson imagined he'd be when Washington took him 16th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, but he at least did his part to help Philly's second-string offense score a TD against Cincinnati's first-string defenders. The No. 3 WR role in Philadelphia isn't one where snaps are likely to translate to many targets, unless maybe the Eagles are missing a couple of their skill-position standouts (A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Saquon Barkley, Dallas Goedert). The good news for Dotson is that he looks like the leader for the No. 3 job again, ahead of Johnny Wilson, Terrace Marshall (knee), Ainias Smith and others.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Opens scoring in playoff win

Dotson reached the end zone for the first time as an Eagle in Sunday's wild-card win over the Packers, finishing with one catch for an 11-yard score. The Eagles got off to a quick start in their 22-10 win, forcing a fumble on the opening kickoff and scoring just three plays later on second-and-9 from the 11. Jalen Hurts had nearly seven seconds in the pocket and found Dotson wide open at the back of the end zone for the wideout's first score since Week 11 of the 2023 season. The rest of the game was more typical for Dotson's time in Philadelphia, as he received just one more target and did not record a reception.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Nearly hits century mark Sunday

Dotson caught seven of 11 targets for 94 yards in Sunday's 20-13 win over the Giants. Working as the Eagles' No. 1 receiver while A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith were rested ahead of the playoffs, Dotson had by far his best game of the year and his most productive day since he erupted for an 8-108-1 line in Week 8 last season against Philly as a member of the Commanders. Dotson hadn't even caught a pass since Week 14 prior to his Week 18 breakout, however, and he'll likely return to being an afterthought in the Eagles' passing game next weekend in the wild-card round against the Packers.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Third straight zero-catch game

Dotson was not targeted a single time in Sunday's 41-7 blowout win over the Cowboys. Dotson has now gone without a catch in three straight contests and has earned a total of just one target over that stretch. His role could expand in Week 18 if the Eagles rest their starters with nothing left to play for, but he'll need five catches to even average one reception per game for the season. He has 12 receptions in 16 contests thus far.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: No catches in Week 15

Dotson finished with zero receptions on one target in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Steelers. The game ended a streak of six straight contests in which Dotson recorded exactly one catch. The Eagles' passing game was the primary story surrounding the team during the week, and Jalen Hurts responded with a strong performance, going 25-of-32 for 290 yards and two touchdowns, but as usual, nearly all of his looks went to his top two wideouts. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith each saw double-digit targets, while the rest of the team combined for just eight.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Fifth straight one-catch game

Dotson caught one pass for seven yards in Sunday's 24-19 win over the Ravens. Even with DeVonta Smith (hamstring) out of action, Dotson failed to make much of an impact, finishing with precisely one catch for the fifth straight game. The Eagles found more success on the ground than through the air, completing just 11 passes on the day.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Continues one-catch streak

Dotson caught one pass for four yards in Sunday's 37-20 win over the Rams. Dotson has now caught exactly one pass in four straight games. His yardage on his lone reception has decreased each week, going from 36 to 27 to eight to four. Expect a single reception for roughly one yard next week if the pattern continues.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: One long catch again

Dotson finished with one catch for 27 yards in Sunday's 34-6 win at Dallas. Jalen Hurts found Dotson deep down the right sideline early in the second quarter but did not look his way the rest of the game. It's the second straight week in which Dotson has finished with a single long reception. He's totaled 98 yards on eight catches in nine games played this season.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Catches one long pass

Dotson made a spectacular catch for a 36-yard gain on his only target early in the third quarter of Sunday's win over the Jaguars. A.J. Brown left with a knee injury shortly before halftime, and Dotson received his one opportunity of the game shortly after the break, reaching over Tyson Campbell's back on a long pass down the left and tipping the ball up to himself to make the grab. Jalen Hurts didn't look Dotson's way again the rest of the game, however, and the receiver's workload may be limited again in Week 10 against the Cowboys if Brown's injury proves minor. Brown's tests came back clean after the game and he appears to have a real chance to return without missing any time, but that's not yet guaranteed.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: No catches in Week 8

Dotson was not targeted in Sunday's 37-17 win over Cincinnati. The Eagles prioritized the run on Sunday, especially after opening up a second-half lead, with Jalen Hurts attempting just 20 passes. As usual, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith soaked up most of the targets, with other Eagles combining for just six, none of which went to Dotson. The third-year wideout has just six catches in seven games this season.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: No catches in big win

Dotson finished with zero catches on one target in Sunday's 28-3 win over the Giants. The Eagles were in control for most of the game and had enough success on the ground (269 yards) that they barely needed to rely on their passing attack, with Jalen Hurts throwing for just 114 yards on 14 attempts. The Eagles rested their starters in the fourth quarter, and while that meant more time on the field for Dotson, the team continued to rely on the ground game, with backup quarterback Kenny Pickett attempting just a single pass.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Retreats to third on depth chart

Dotson had just one catch for 10 yards on three targets in Sunday's 20-16 in over the Browns. He also rushed once for 13 yards. Dotson wasn't able to carve out a significant role in the Eagles' offense when injuries to A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith elevated him to a starting spot earlier in the season, so it's no surprise to see his role remain small now that those two are healthy again. Dotson has a total of seven touches for 48 yards and no touches through five games this season.

  • Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Serving as top wideout Sunday

Dotson is in line to serve as the Eagles' No. 1 receiver for Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the Buccaneers with both A.J. Brown (hamstring) and DeVonta Smith (concussion) ruled out for the contest. Dotson has shown very little over the last two games despite Brown's absence, and he's produced just a 3-14-0 line on five targets over his first three regular-season contests overall. However, the combination of Dotson's speed, the fact he's had another week to acclimate to the Eagles' playbook following his late-August arrival via trade with the Commanders, and the expansive void the absences of Brown and Smith create could represent the perfect storm of opportunity and circumstances for Dotson to thrive versus what's been an inconsistent and still short-handed Buccaneers secondary.
