  • Kearis Jackson: Cut by Houston

Jackson was waived by the Texans on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Jackson signed a reserve/future contract with the Texans in late January after spending the majority of the 2024 season on the Giants' practice squad. The wide receiver's tenure in Houston was short-lived and he'll now look for another opportunity elsewhere. Jackson last appeared in an NFL contest in 2023, playing 21 snaps on special teams over two games with the Titans.

  • Kearis Jackson: Finds new opportunity

Jackson signed with the Giants' practice squad Monday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports. Jackson has been more of a kick-return specialist than a wideout, handling that role for two games with the Titans last season and in the preseason this summer before ultimately being waived on cutdown day. He'll now work to earn that role in New York, starting as a member of the practice squad.

  • Kearis Jackson: Doesn't make Titans' 53-man roster

Jackson was waived by Tennessee on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports. Jackson didn't record a catch over the first two preseason games before missing Sunday's game against the Saints due to a knee injury. He wasn't waived with an injury designation, indicating that Jackson is healthy. Should he clear waivers, Jackson will explore his next options.

  • Titans' Kearis Jackson: Questionable for preseason finale

Jackson (knee) is questionable for the Titans' last preseason game at New Orleans, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Jackson sustained a bruised knee during Saturday's preseason game versus the Seahawks, and now it looks like that injury could keep him out for the rest of the preseason. If he is indeed out, undrafted rookie free agent Sam Schnee could see an uptick in reps.

  • Titans' Kearis Jackson: Makes 53-man roster

Jackson was informed Tuesday that he's made the Titans' initial 53-man roster, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Jackson exited the Titans' second preseason game this year due to a knee injury, but he returned to action for the team's preseason finale and played 17 snaps on offense and seven on special teams. He secured his lone target for a 26-yard touchdown during the team's exhibition win over New England and should begin the 2023 campaign as a depth option at wide receiver.

  • Kearis Jackson: Slated to join Tennessee

Jackson is expected to sign with the Titans as an undrafted free agent, Mike Moraitis of USA Today reports. Jackson played collegiately at Georgia for four seasons and secured 78 of 131 targets for 1,096 yards and four touchdowns over his career with the Bulldogs. After going undrafted, he'll join the Titans for the start of their offseason program.
