  • Rams' Braden Fiske: Cleared to play vs. Philly

Fiske (oblique) is active for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. Fiske saw a reduced workload during the Rams' Week 2 win over the Titans after tweaking his oblique during warmups. He opened the week with back-to-back DNPs, but he has been cleared to play Sunday after logging a limited practice session Friday. Fiske has tallied three tackles (one solo) and one fumble recovery through the first two games of the regular season.

  • Rams' Braden Fiske: Expected to suit up

Fiske (oblique), who is officially listed as questionable, is expected to play Sunday against the Eagles, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Fiske suffered an oblique injury during warmups of the Rams' Week 2 win over the Titans and played lighter snaps than usual in the contest, but he was able to practice in limited fashion Friday. The Rams apparently came away encouraged with how Fiske looked during practice, but he could be on a restricted snap count once again this Sunday. He's expected to be officially cleared to play when the Rams release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Rams' Braden Fiske: Returns to practice

Fiske (oblique) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Fiske was unable to practice in any capacity Wednesday and Thursday, so his ability to retake the field Friday is a positive. He was on a limited snap count in Week 2, and that could be the case once again if he is able to suit up Sunday.

  • Rams' Braden Fiske: No practice Wednesday

Fiske (oblique) did not practice Wednesday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports. Fiske suffered an oblique injury during warmups for Sunday's game against Tennessee, and he was limited to only 12 defensive snaps as a result. It's not a great sign that he was unable to practice Wednesday, but his participation Thursday and Friday will likely give a better indication of his status ahead of the team's Week 3 matchup against the Eagles.

  • Rams' Braden Fiske: Tweaked oblique during warmups

Head coach Sean McVay relayed Monday that Fiske injured his oblique during pregame warmups before Sunday's game against the Titans, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. It explains why Fiske was limited to 14 snaps (13 on defense, one on special teams) during Sunday's win. McVay told reporters that the 2024 second-rounder felt better Monday and that Fiske's injury will be monitored leading up to the Rams' Week 3 clash against the Eagles this coming Sunday.

  • Rams' Braden Fiske: Deemed fully healthy

Fiske (knee) has been a full participant at Rams' OTAs this week, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. The defensive lineman injured his knee three snaps into Los Angeles' divisional-round loss to the Eagles back in January and required minor offseason surgery. Fiske was one of the Rams' numerous draft hits in 2024 at No. 39 overall, finishing his rookie campaign with 44 tackles (20 solo) including 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

  • Rams' Braden Fiske: Needs minor procedure on knee

Head coach Sean McVay said Thursday that Fiske will need a "minor procedure" on the knee that he injured during the Rams' NFC divisional-round loss to the Eagles this past Sunday, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. McVay added that the surgery won't affect Fiske's availability for the beginning of the 2025 season. Fiske injured his knee while sacking Jalen Hurts in the first half of this past Sunday's game, and it was serious enough for him not to return. The 2024 second-round pick led all rookies during the regular season with 8.5 sacks and finished with 44 tackles (20 solo), two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries across 17 games. Fiske was also named as one of the five finalists for the AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award.

  • Rams' Braden Fiske: Tagged as questionable for Week 8

Fiske (back) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice and is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Vikings, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Fiske took advantage of the Rams' Week 6 bye to heal from a shoulder injury and suit up against the Raiders on Sunday, during which he logged two tackles across 45 snaps (38 on defense, seven on special teams). However, he came out of that contest with a back injury, and he was listed as a DNP on Monday and Tuesday. Fiske's ability to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday has earned him a questionable tag heading into Thursday's game, though whether he'll suit up will likely not be known until the Rams' inactive list is announced 90 minutes before the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Rams' Braden Fiske: Dealing with shoulder issue

Head coach Sean McVay told reporters Monday that Fiske is dealing with a sore shoulder following Sunday's 24-19 loss to the Packers, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. Fiske recorded three total tackles across 33 snaps (29 defensive and four on special teams) in Sunday's loss, but McVay's comments Monday confirm he sustained a shoulder injury in the process. Fortunately for Fiske, the Rams are one of four teams with a Week 6 bye, so he will have until Oct. 20 to recover from this issue.

  • Rams' Braden Fiske: Leaves practice with eye injury

Fiske left Thursday's practice session after being poked in the eye, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. Although Fiske did not return to Thursday's practice, there's no indication that his availability for Sunday's preseason opener against the Cowboys is in jeopardy. The rookie second-round pick out of Florida State is battling for a starting spot on the Rams' defensive front alongside Kobie Turner and Bobby Brown.
