Panthers' Jaycee Horn: Absent from walkthrough
Horn (concussion) did not practice in Thursday's walkthrough, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Horn has sat out consecutive practices with the concussion he sustained in the Monday Night Football loss to the 49ers. The cornerback's Week 13 availability will hinge on whether he can return to practice Friday on at least a limited basis and whether he gains clearance from the concussion protocol ahead of kickoff.

Panthers' Jaycee Horn: Ruled out for Week 13
Horn (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Horn suffered the concussion in last Monday night's loss to the 49ers, and he'll now miss the Week 13 date with Los Angeles, significantly upgrading the matchup for both Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. With Horn sidelined, Akayleb Evans and Robert Rochell are likely to play elevated snaps at cornerback.

Panthers' Jaycee Horn: Enters concussion protocol
Horn (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of Monday's game against the 49ers, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Per the ESPN broadcast, Horn was being evaluated by medical staff following his second interception of the game in the second quarter. He remained in the locker room after halftime and will not return after being diagnosed with a concussion, so Corey Thornton has taken over as the Panthers' second outside cornerback opposite Mike Jackson.

Horn tallied three total tackles (two solo) in Sunday's 40-9 loss to the Bills.
Horn played a season-low 87 percent of Carolina's defensive snaps in Week 8, but that's likely due to the second-half blowout. The South Carolina product has tallied 13 total tackles and three interceptions (tied for third-most in the NFL) across the Panthers' first eight games this season. He's expected to have his hands full in the Week 9 matchup against the Packers, as Jordan Love just threw for 360 yards and three touchdowns against the Steelers in a Week 8 win.
