The Patriots signed Dorner to the practice squad Monday.
The Patriots waived Dorner last Saturday in anticipation of last Sunday's cutdown day. The wide receiver cleared waivers and has chosen to stay with the team on the practice squad. The undrafted free agent out of North Texas participated in all three preseason games, catching four of his five targets for 37 yards.

The Patriots waived Dorner on Saturday, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.
Dprimer signed with the Patriots in early May as an undrafted free agent out of North Texas. The wide receiver played in all three preseason contests for the team, catching four of his five targets for 37 yards. Dorner will now be subject to waivers through Monday due to Sunday's cutdown day. If the 22-year-old goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any team's 53-man roster or practice squad.
