Ravens' Nick Samac: Left off injury report

Samac (lower leg) wasn't on the Ravens' injury report Monday ahead of Thursday's regular-season opener against the Chiefs. Samac has been battling a lower-leg injury over the last week or so, but it now appears that he's moved past the issue after being left off Baltimore's injury report Monday. Expect the 2024 seventh-round pick to serve as the Ravens' backup center during his rookie campaign.

Samac (lower leg) participated at practice Monday. Coach John Harbaugh said Monday that the injury Samac sustained during Baltimore's final preseason game was "an ankle sprain," though not a major one. He figures to play a depth role for the Ravens in 2024.
