Hall rushed 10 times for 52 yards and caught all four of his targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 31-6 loss to Arizona.
Hall performed well on a per-touch basis Sunday, but the rushing attack was placed on the back burner after the Jets fell behind big in the second half. The speedy tailback remains one of the few bright spots for New York in 2024, providing consistent value for fantasy managers amid the team's struggles through 10 weeks. Hall should remain a strong play against the Colts next Sunday.

Jets' Breece Hall: Another efficient rushing effort
Rotowire
Hall rushed 15 times for 74 yards and brought in two of four targets for 11 yards in the Jets' 21-13 win over the Texans on Thursday night. He also fumbled once but recovered.
Hall saw his rushing opportunities stall somewhat with the Jets trying to overcome a deficit early in the second half, but he still finished with yet another impressive rushing performance. Hall has now averaged at least Thursday's 4.9 yards per carry in three of the past four games, a marked departure from his struggles with efficiency earlier in the season. Hall next takes aim at the Cardinals' vulnerable run defense in a Week 10 road matchup on Sunday, Nov. 10.

Jets' Breece Hall: Gets 16 carries in loss
Rotowire
Hall rushed 16 times for 80 yards while catching one of three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 25-22 loss to the Patriots.
Hall's 17 touches marked his third-lowest total of the season, as he didn't make much of a mark as a pass catcher while ceding a larger share of carries than usual to Braelon Allen (12 carries for 32 yards and a touchdown). Allen now has two rushing scores this season to Hall's three, and the Jets' inability to spend extended periods with the lead coupled to competition for valuable goal-line touches have cut into Hall's fantasy value. Hall and the Jets will try to end a five-game losing streak Thursday against the Texans.

Jets' Breece Hall: Top DFS Play
Rotowire
Hall has had 41 touches in two games since the coaching change. He's topped 140 yards from scrimmage and 20 PPR Fantasy points in both games. This week, he faces a Patriots defense that has allowed the second-most Fantasy points to opposing running backs. Hall may just be the No. 1 running back this week, and his price is still being impacted by a couple of bad games earlier this year.

Jets' Breece Hall: Tops 100 receiving yards in loss
Rotowire
Hall rushed 12 times for 38 yards and a touchdown while catching six of nine targets for 103 yards in Sunday's 37-15 loss to the Steelers.
Hall scored a 13-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter and came three yards shy of another score on a 57-yard catch in the second quarter. That long reception helped Hall finish as the surprising team leader in receiving yards, overshadowing Garrett Wilson (61) and Jets debutant Davante Adams (30), who both tied Hall for the team lead in targets. Adams' gravity could help free up more space for Hall as defenses devote more resources to defending the wide receiver position, but the offensive line has struggled to open up running lanes all season. Hall's averaging a modest 3.7 yards per carry heading into a Week 8 road game against the Patriots.

Jets' Breece Hall: New coach committed to run
Rotowire
Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich is committed to building a run-first offense, which could result in more touches for Hall and Braelon Allen, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports.
Hall hasn't been able to get untracked most of this season, so any positive talk will be welcomed but also met with skepticism until the Jets play their first game under Ulbrich on Monday against the Bills. Ulbrich will turn to Jets passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Todd Downing to call plays for the offense after offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett was stripped of that responsibility in Ulbrich's first major decision since succeeding Robert Saleh as head coach.

Jets' Breece Hall: Scripted out of loss
Rotowire
Hall rushed the ball nine times for 23 yards in Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Vikings. He added three catches on four targets for 14 yards.
The Jets fell behind early in the contest, limiting Hall to single-digit carries for the second consecutive week. He had poor overall efficiency, though he did show some burst with 10 and seven-yard gains on separate carries. While it was a second straight frustrating performance, Hall still clearly held the lead-back role for New York, as he had 12 total touches compared to six for Braelon Allen.

Jets' Breece Hall: Bottled up in Week 4 loss
Rotowire
Hall rushed 10 times for four yards while catching two of five targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Broncos.
Hall was stuffed on a pair of carries from the one-yard line to end the first quarter, and he finished the quarter with minus-3 yards on seven carries. He was outplayed by Braelon Allen (eight carries for 34 yards) thereafter as the Jets failed to score a touchdown while battling inclement weather in this disappointing loss. Hall's averaging just 3.1 yards per carry on his 56 attempts compared to Allen's 4.8 YPC on 27 carries heading into a Week 5 matchup with the Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Jets' Breece Hall: Top DFS Play
Rotowire
The Braelon Allen usage has been frustrating, but Hall is still averaging more than 20 touches per game and more than 20 Fantasy points per game. He's my third-highest projected running back on the main slate, and with a favorable game script, he may be the number one back when all is said and done. He's a great value in comparison to Barkley and Kamara this week.

Jets' Breece Hall: Productive all-around game Thursday
Rotowire
Hall rushed 16 times for 54 yards and a touchdown and secured four of five targets for 29 yards in the Jets' 24-3 win over the Patriots on Thursday night.
Hall was outproduced by rookie teammate Braelon Allen, who notably garnered 11 carries of his own and outgained Hall by one yard on the ground. However, of the two, it was Hall who found the end zone, recording a one-yard touchdown run just before the halfway point of the second quarter. The third-year pro also posted the second-most receptions on the Jets for the night, and Hall now has 16 catches (on 19 targets) through the first three games. He'll now prep for a favorable Week 4 home matchup against the Broncos on Sunday, Sept. 29.

Jets' Breece Hall: TD, fumble in Week 1 loss
Rotowire
Hall rushed 16 times for 54 yards and a touchdown while catching five of six targets for 39 yards and losing a fumble in Monday's 32-19 loss to the 49ers.
Hall atoned for a fumble on the Jets' second possession with a three-yard touchdown run on the next drive. He failed to get in on a two-point conversion attempt in the third quarter after the first of Allen Lazard's two touchdown catches cut the deficit to 26-13. The Jets' makeover on the offensive line and the return of star quarterback Aaron Rodgers was supposed to help open up more running lanes for Hall, but the jury's still out in that regard, as his unimpressive 3.4 yards per carry Monday can be chalked up to facing an elite 49ers defensive front. Hall got the first 21 touches among Jets running backs before rookie Braelon Allen got a pair on the team's final drive, so Hall should continue to be a three-down workhorse against the Titans in Week 2.

Jets' Breece Hall: Feeling good heading into season
Rotowire
Hall described himself as "better than ever" heading into his third NFL season, the Jets' official site reports.
Hall has been simulating star 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey in practice to help the Jets defense prepare for Monday's season opener in San Francisco. He's one of the few running backs with comparable versatility and explosiveness to McCaffrey, as Hall's 1,585 scrimmage yards in the 2023 season were second among NFL running backs behind McCaffrey's 2,023. Hall's impressive production came despite his workload being managed to begin the season as he worked his way back from a torn ACL suffered in October 2022, but he has no such physical limitations heading into the 2024 campaign.

Jets' Breece Hall: Not in line for preseason appearance
Rotowire
Hall and other starters aren't in line to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Giants, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
The Jets have held most of their starters out for the entire preseason, hoping to stay as healthy as possible for a Week 1 game at San Francisco on Monday Night Football. It's a tough matchup to start the season, but Hall's combination of talent and expected workload is hard to match, making him a first-round pick and every-week starter in the vast majority of fantasy leagues.

Jets' Breece Hall: Not suiting up Saturday
Rotowire
Hall isn't slated to play in Saturday's preseason game at Carolina, Randy Lange of the Jets' official site reports.
Hall is the only Jets running back not suiting up for the team's second exhibition, leaving Braelon Allen, Isaiah Davis, Israel Abanikanda, Deon Jackson and Xazavian Valladay to handle the backfield Saturday. With one preseason contest to go for New York, it remains to be seen if Hall will get any reps prior to Week 1, but if he doesn't, he'll be looking to one-up the 1,585 yards from scrimmage and nine total touchdowns that he compiled in 17 regular-season games in 2023.

Jets' Breece Hall: Good to go at training camp
Rotowire
Hall (lower body) participated in 11-on-11 drills at Day 1 of Jets training camp Wednesday, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.
Hall didn't practice at June minicamp due to a lower-body injury, though he noted that the coaching staff was mostly holding him out as a precautionary measure. The star running back said earlier this offseason that his knee already feels much better than during the 2023 season, when he was working his way back from an ACL tear. During the upcoming season, he should benefit from improved offensive line play, with the Jets having signed left tackle Tyron Smith, traded for right tackle Morgan Moses and added tackle Olu Fashanu in the first round of April's draft. Plus, the promise of a healthy Aaron Rodgers should allow New York's offense to take a step forward, after questionable quarterback play heavily limited the unit in recent seasons.

Jets' Breece Hall: Limited to side work
Rotowire
Hall is working off to the side at Tuesday's practice, with coach Robert Saleh telling reporters the running back is "dealing with some lower half stuff," Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Hall was first spotted with the Jets' rehab group last Wednesday and is now confirmed to be dealing with a minor injury. It doesn't sound like anything that will still be an issue when the Jets start training camp in late July, but it's possible Hall is limited or absent during mandatory minicamp June 11-13. Braelon Allen, Isaiah Davis, Israel Abanikanda and Tarik Cohen are all candidates to take first-team RB reps while Hall isn't practicing.

Jets' Breece Hall: Over 500 yards in last three games
Rotowire
Hall rushed 37 times for 178 yards and a touchdown while catching both of his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 17-3 win over the Patriots. He also ran in a two-point conversion.
Hall saw the heaviest workload on the ground of his NFL career in the snowy season finale, and he broke the game open late with a 50-yard touchdown run, which he immediately followed up with a two-point conversion. The 22-year-old running back was spectacular down the stretch, racking up 507 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns over his last three games. Overall, Hall posted 994 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 223 carries along with 76 catches on 95 targets for 591 yards and four touchdowns. He didn't miss a game in his second NFL campaign after having his rookie year cut short by an ACL tear, and Hall should benefit from the expected return of quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) next season.

Jets' Breece Hall: Another strong performance in loss
Rotowire
Hall rushed 13 times for 84 yards and secured all nine targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' 37-20 loss to the Browns on Thursday night.
For the second time in five days, Hall was the busiest skill-position player on the Jets while leading the way in rush attempts and receptions. The versatile back, who's frequently struggled with efficiency on the ground behind a poor run-blocking offensive line, has compiled 179 rushing yards on 33 carries in the last two games, production he's complemented with a 21-136-1 line through the air on 25 targets. Hall will look to close out the season in similarly productive fashion and head into the offseason with some momentum when the Jets face off with the Patriots on the road on Sunday, Jan. 7.

Jets' Breece Hall: Erupts against Commanders
Rotowire
Hall carried the ball 20 times for 95 yards and two touchdowns and caught 12 of 16 targets for 96 yards in Sunday's 30-28 win over Washington.
The running back was nearly a one-man offense for the Jets, leading the team in both rushing and receiving yards, and Hall's mammoth effort helped build a 27-7 lead by halftime that the defense managed to squander, requiring Greg Zuerlein to kick a game-winning field goal in the game's dying seconds. Hall hadn't scored a rushing TD since Week 6 and hadn't topped 50 rushing yards since Week 5, but he had scored three receiving touchdowns and seen heavy usage as a pass catcher over the last couple months to stay somewhat productive. The second-year RB's numbers have been a rollercoaster lately, but another downturn could be coming in Week 17 as Hall and the Jets will face a much tougher opponent in the Browns.

Jets' Breece Hall: Just 18 total yards in shutout loss
Rotowire
Hall rushed six times for 12 yards and caught one of two targets for six yards in Sunday's 30-0 loss to the Dolphins.
Hall had been making up for poor rushing performances with strong receiving numbers in recent weeks, but the versatile running back failed to find any room as nobody on the Jets reached 30 scrimmage yards in the shutout loss. Starting quarterback Zach Wilson (head) got hurt in the first half, and the offensive line didn't open up any holes for Hall, Israel Abanikanda or Dalvin Cook, as the other two running backs combined for 12 yards on five carries. Hall will look to bounce back in Week 16 against the weak Washington defense.
