    The Commanders are waiving Nash, Ben Standig of Big 100 Washington D.C. reports. After joining Atlanta as an undrafted rookie last offseason, Nash was a roster casualty on cutdown day last August. He quickly landed with the Falcons' practice squad, where he remained for all of the 2025 campaign. This time around, Nash's fate was learned ahead of cutdown day, but he now will be a candidate to land on a practice squad if he clears waivers.

  • Commanders' Nick Nash: Inks reserve/future deal

    The Commanders signed Nash to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Zach Selby of the team's official site reports. Nash spent time on the Falcons' practice squad in 2025, and he'll now get a chance to compete for a reserve role with Washington during the offseason. The wide receiver is still looking for an opportunity to make his regular-season debut.

    The Falcons signed Nash to the practice squad Wednesday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports. Nash put together a 12/136/0 stat line across three preseason games. He wasn't able to crack the Falcons' 53-man roster, but the undrafted rookie out of San Jose State will remain in the organization as part of the team's practice squad. Nash is a candidate to be elevated to the active roster should the Falcons require depth at wide receiver.
