  • Isaiah Iton: Works out with Green Bay

    Iton (undisclosed) was hosted for a workout with the Packers on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Iton was waived from injured reserve by the Patriots in early September after suffering an undisclosed injury, and he now appears to be back to full health. The Packers just lost Javon Hargrave (Achilles) for the rest of the season, so Iton could provide them with an additional option on the interior defensive line.

    Iton (undisclosed) reverted to New England's injured reserve Monday, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports. Iton missed all of last season while on IR due to a hip injury, though it's unclear if his current issue is related. The Rutgers product did play in all three of the Patriots' preseason contests, but he was waived/injured Sunday. Since he cleared waivers and reverted to IR, Iton will need to sit out the entire 2026 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with New England.

Iton was not picked up by another club after being waived with an injury designation by the Patriots on Monday, so now he's going to their injured reserve list. He'll be required to remain there for the entire 2025 campaign unless he negotiates an injury settlement with New England.
