  • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Moved to reserve/PUP list

Norman-Lott (knee) was moved to the reserve/PUP list by the Chiefs on Sunday.

Norman-Lott was placed on the active/PUP list ahead of training camp, and he did not appear in a preseason game as he continues to recover from a torn ACL that he suffered in October. The defensive lineman will now be forced to miss at least four contests to begin the regular season, and in his absence, rookie first-rounder Peter Woods will handle the primary reserve role at defensive tackle behind Chris Jones and Khyiris Tonga.

  • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Starting training camp on PUP

The Chiefs placed Norman-Lott (knee) on the active/PUP list Saturday.

Norman-Lott's move to the PUP list comes as expected, as he is still working his way back from a torn ACL he suffered in Week 7 of the 2025 campaign. The 24-year-old can be activated at any time and should have a chance to return at some point during training camp.

  • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Likely to start camp on PUP list

Norman-Lott (knee) will likely start camp on the active/PUP list, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reported Friday.

Norman-Lott tore his ACL in the Chiefs' Week 7 win over the Raiders last season. The defensive tackle has spent the offseason rehabbing in the hopes of being ready for the season, but he likely won't participate at the beginning of training camp. Head coach Andy Reid said that the 24-year-old was making progress, which Norman-Lott should have a chance to get on the practice field at some point during camp.

  • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Officially placed on IR

The Chiefs placed Norman-Lott (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday.

Norman-Lott tore his ACL during the Chiefs' Week 7 win over the Raiders on Sunday. The injury will sideline the rookie second-rounder for the rest of the 2025 season, and he'll turn his attention toward his recovery and to be ready for the start of training camp in July of 2026. He'll end his first NFL regular season with five tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks. Jerry Tillery should see more rotational snaps at defensive tackle in Norman-Lott's absence.

  • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Sustains torn ACL

Norman-Lott sustained a season-ending torn ACL in his right knee during Sunday's 31-0 win over the Raiders, Nate Taylor of ESPN.com reports.

Norman-Lott exited the Chiefs' Week 7 win in the third quarter due to a knee injury, which has now been revealed to be a torn ACL. The rookie defensive tackle from Tennessee had played just 70 defensive snaps through his first five NFL games, recording five total tackles, including 1.0 sacks. Now that he's expected to miss the remainder of Kansas City's 2025 campaign, expect Jerry Tillery to operate as the team's top reserve interior defensive lineman.

  • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Won't return vs. Las Vegas

Norman-Lott (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Norman-Lott had to be helped off the field late in the third quarter due to a knee injury. He was taken back to the locker room to have his knee injury evaluated, and the results of those tests will be worth closely monitoring given the numerous injuries that have plagued the Chiefs' offensive line this season.
