  • 49ers' Carver Willis: Back to practice

    Willis has cleared concussion protocol and was a full participant in Monday's practice, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports. Willis suffered a concussion last Wednesday, but has quickly progressed through the NFL's five-step protocol and was cleared by an independent neurologist Monday. The offensive lineman is all set to continue practicing to fulfill a depth role for the 49ers in 2026.

  • 49ers' Carver Willis: Doesn't practice Wednesday

    Willis (concussion) didn't participate in San Francisco's training camp Wednesday, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports. Willis will have to clear the league's concussion protocol before he's eligible to return to the field. Once healthy, the 24-year-old is expected to serve as a depth offensive lineman during the upcoming campaign.
