Taylor logged consecutive limited practice sessions Wednesday and Thursday. After practicing in full Friday and being activated from injured reserve Saturday, he will be out there in Week 5 versus the Broncos.

The Chargers activated Taylor (neck) form injured reserve Saturday.
Taylor is still listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos. However, the Chargers appear to have a high level of confidence that Taylor will play given his activation from injured reserve. The 2025 sixth-rounder opened the regular season on IR due to a neck injury, and he drew the questionable tag after logging a full practice Friday.

The Chargers placed Taylor (undisclosed) on injured reserve Sunday with a designation to return, Ian Rapoport of ESPN and NFL Network reports.
Taylor will be forced to miss at least the first four games of the season before he's eligible to return due to an undisclosed injury. The rookie sixth-round pick should serve as a depth tackle once healthy.

Chargers' Branson Taylor: Taken by Bolts in sixth round
The Chargers selected Taylor in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 199th overall.
Taylor started in 21 games over the final three years of his college career at Pittsburgh, 18 of which came at left tackle. He played in just six games in 2024 while suffering a season-ending knee injury, which limited him during much of the draft process. Taylor showed pass-slide quickness and mobility to respond to edge rushers, but his lack of arm length could limit him at the NFL level.
