Campbell then got to Stafford for a five-yard sack on the Rams' next offensive drive, which led to a punt on the next play. the sack was Campbell's first since Week 3, and through nine games, he's accumulated 31 tackles (25 solo), three sacks, five pass breakups and one fumble recovery.

  • Dolphins' Calais Campbell: Gets to quarterback Sunday

Campbell recorded three tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sack, during Sunday's 20-17 win versus the Jaguars. Being badly banged up on the edge, Miami leaned on Campbell some to provide a pass rush in Week 1, and the veteran delivered solid production. Given his age, there's probably a cap on his playing time in any given game, meaning Campbell will be tough to rely on for IDP production as the season progresses.

  • Falcons' Calais Campbell: Can still get after QBs

Campbell finished 2023 with 56 tackles (32 solo), 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one pass defense in 17 appearances. After three years in Baltimore, Campbell signed a one-year deal with Atlanta to revamp a poor pass rush. Jessie Bates' presence also had a major impact on the Falcons' defensive turnaround, but Campbell's contributions shouldn't go unnoticed, as he notched his most sacks in a season since 2019. Given the strong pairing, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Falcons try to bring the veteran back for his age-38 season, though Campbell may have a list of suitors after a healthy 2023 campaign.

  • Falcons' Calais Campbell: Records sack in loss

Campbell notched four tackles (three solo) and one sack during Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Commanders. The sack was the 100th of his career, making one of just five active NFL players to hit that special mark. Campbell signed with the Falcons this offseason and was expected to revitalize one of the worst pass-rushing groups in the NFL. He's been a solid presence for Atlanta thus far, but it took until Week 6 to record his first sack. Campbell hasn't recorded a double-digit sack season since 2018, and it doesn't look like that'll change this year.

  • Ravens' Calais Campbell: Inactive Sunday

Campbell (knee) is inactive for Sunday's night's game against the Steelers, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports. • Ravens' Calais Campbell: Game-time decision for Week 17

Campbell (knee) is a game-time decision for Sunday night's game against the Steelers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. • Ravens' Calais Campbell: Questionable for Saturday

Campbell could miss some time with a knee injury he sustained in Week 15 at Cleveland, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Campbell was forced out during the second half of Baltimore's loss at the Browns in Week 15 with a knee injury, and his availability for Week 16 is now up in the air. If the veteran Campbell does miss time, rookie third-rounder Travis Jones would be a likely candidate for extra reps on the defensive line.

  • Ravens' Calais Campbell: No intention to retire

Campbell said Sunday he intends to return for the 2022 campaign, which will be the 15th season of his career, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Campbell's two-year, $27 million contract with the Ravens has run its course, positioning him to become an unrestricted free agent after having notched just 1.5 sacks across 15 appearances in 2021. Baltimore could be motivated to offer the 35-year-old veteran a one-year deal to reprise his role in the 2022 season, but if Campbell does hit the open market he shouldn't have much difficulty finding a role elsewhere.

He'll likely need to make some progress in his recovery to have a chance of suiting up Sunday versus Green Bay.

  • Ravens' Calais Campbell: Questionable, but should play

Campbell (calf), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Through 11 appearances on the season, Campbell has tallied 28 tackles, four sacks and six passes defensed.

  • Ravens' Calais Campbell: Not playing Sunday

Campbell (calf) is inactive for Sunday's game against Jacksonville. The 34-year-old was considered a game-time decision, but he apparently didn't show enough during a pregame workout for the Ravens to let him play. Justin Madubuike should have an increased role in Campbell's absence.

  • Ravens' Calais Campbell: Designated as questionable

Campbell (calf) is questionable for Sunday's game versus the Jagaurs. Campbell made his first appearance at practice Friday, working as a limited participant. The veteran defensive end played through the calf injury in last week's win over the Browns, but he seemed to be on a pitch count, logging just 40 percent of the defensive snaps. Campbell could be set for a similar regimen in Sunday's clash against his former team.

  • Ravens' Calais Campbell: Missed practice Wednesday

Campbell (calf) was a nonparticipant during Wednesday's practice. Campbell was finally cleared for last week's game after missing three straight contests with the calf issue, so this news isn't a good sign. The veteran was on a pitch count Monday, seeing just 29 percent of defensive snaps, so it appears the team is working Campbell back slowly. If Campbell were to be limited again or completely miss Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Justin Madubuike and Jihad Ward would continue to see upticks in snaps.
