Browns' D'Angelo Ross: Staying in Cleveland
Ross signed a contract with the Browns on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Ross opened the 2025 season on the Texans' practice squad and appeared in three games before being signed to the Browns' active roster in mid-November. He appeared in seven regular-season games for Cleveland and logged nine tackles (five solo) and two pass defenses while mostly serving on special teams. Ross will likely see most of his playing time on special teams in 2026, but his presence gives the Browns depth in the secondary.

Browns' Elgton Jenkins: Progressing in recovery
Jenkins continues to progress in his rehab from a fractured lower leg and ligament damage that he suffered in November while playing for the Packers, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
Jenkins spent the first seven years of his NFL career in Green Bay, where he was named to the NFC Pro Bowl roster in 2020 and 2022. He started in each of the Packers' first nine games of the 2025 regular season before fracturing his leg against the Eagles in Week 10. Jenkins relayed Friday that he is on pace with his recovery and hopes to be fully healthy for the start of the 2026 season.

Browns' Kalia Davis: Departing Bay Area for Cleveland
Davis and the Browns agreed to terms Friday on a one-year contract worth up to $3 million, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Davis was selected by the 49ers in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft and spent his first four years in the NFL with San Francisco, but he will now call Cleveland home. He is coming off a career year in 2025, finishing with 28 tackles (10 solo), including 0.5 sacks and three pass defenses across 17 regular-season games. Davis figures to serve in a rotational role on the Browns' interior defensive line behind Mason Graham and Maliek Collins (quadriceps).

Browns' Elgton Jenkins: Officially signs with Cleveland
Jenkins (ankle) and the Browns agreed to terms on a contract Wednesday, Kelsey Russo of the team's official site reports.
Per Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com on Tuesday, the contract is a two-year deal worth $24 million. Jenkins spent the first seven years of his NFL career with the Packers. He was named to the NFC Pro Bowl roster in 2020 and 2022 and started at center for the first nine games of the 2025 regular season before he suffered a season-ending fractured ankle in Week 10 against the Eagles. The Browns have committed significant resources to improving their offensive line by signing Jenkins, Tytus Howard and Zion Johnson.

Browns' Jack Stoll: Moving on to Cleveland
Stoll (knee) agreed to terms Wednesday on a one-year contract with the Browns, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Stoll, who appears back to full health after ending the 2025 season on IR due to a knee issue, will provide depth behind breakout rookie tight end Harold Fannin (groin) for Cleveland. Across 15 regular-season appearances with the Saints last year, Stoll secured six of 11 targets for 46 yards and one touchdown.

Jenkins (lower leg) is expected to sign with the Browns, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Jenkins is set to sign a two-year, $24 million deal with $20 million guaranteed. The former Packer is a two-time Pro Bowl center and was a staple of the Packers' offensive line. The 30-year-old's release was primarily due to Green Bay needing to clear cap space.
